The worst store I have ever delt with as far as the manager. They made an error and after 3 trips to the store to get it corrected (still not correct) made it worst and all she could say was thats all she could do. Not !
I was overcharged, paid twice for the same item, the product I am left with is in pieses and will have to fix, as they will not let me return it
First off, the store manager is a man, not a woman. There are female department managers, but if you wanted to talk to the manager as you say you did, he is a man.
Any product that is in pieces would either be subject to the manufacturers warranty, or if dismantled by the customer, may not be entitled to warranty.
If you want to talk to the manager about this issue, contact the store and ask to speak to him. If possible, he will help you out.
The women managers say that they're also the store managers and it's hard to get help that way. I've found them to discourage customers from returning items. One of them tricked my son to give it one more try with a defective pressure washer before returning it. He did as she asked and when he brought it back another woman told him that it was beyond the return window in the store. Needless to say we don't shop at canadian tire anymore.
