The Campbellford Canadian Tire store is one of the nicest I have been into. The staff in their service department saved what could have been a horrible vacation by going above and beyond to help us out. While waiting for our vehicle to be fixed, we enjoyed one of the most pleasant shopping experiences. The staff was knowledgable and helpful, taking time to talk to our family, asking where we were from and what we had planned. The kids thought it was part of our holiday fun and still talk about it. Our experience was terriffic and we highly recommend them to anyone.

If I were you, I would have stopped in my tracks and went outside to see if it was really a Canadian Tire store I was in.

Keep an open mind. There are unique individuals in every different Canadian Tire across the country. Each should be judged on their own merit. Give Campbellford's a try and see for yourself.

I have been to the Campbellford store many times. I enjoy the "country" attitude to us customers. I know of a couple of cases where they have gone above and beyond the norm to accomodate "out of towners" with their automotive problems. I have been to many ct stores and this one is the cleanest and most navigateable store I have seen. Being a smaller store, I understand that they can't stock everything, but are always willing to offer rain checks. Most of the staff are very friendly. This is my favourite store and I wait till the weekends to shop here when we are cottaging. I'm sure there are many who have experienced the same.
