As usual this store is no better than an other Canadian Tire Stores poorly trained staff but I suppose it is hard to keep any staff with the very low rate of pay the staff receives from the greedy owners I will say however my experience at the auto service center was ok a far cry from the service if you could call it that at the Douglas Street location they tried to fix my car three times the service manager talked in circles trying to weasle out of any responsibility. Don't ever take your car there for service of any kind, it sounds like a zoo in the service bays and I got the impression after sitting in the waiting area and hearing the mechanics talking to the service manager "see if you can sell this". Its all about fear tactics and selling work that isn't required, the stereotypical mechanic ripping people off

I brought a car to there automotive department. It's temperature gauge was going into the red. I spent 700$ for a new thoermostat, and several other items. 5 weeks later my engine blew, I brought my car back to them, they gave me a list of 15 things it would need, and said my car was a complete writeoff. This was at christmas time, and I'm on disability, I get 1055$ a month. Thanks guys for that. They knew my car was a writeoff, and still soaked me for 700$ on a car that I paid 700$ for.
