    Angry High school staff...

Of course most staff are in school/colledge, are you dumb? Why does that kid think you are crazy when you ask for a torx bit screwdriver? Because no selfrespecting trades person would get paid minimum wage to hold your hand while you buy a fucking screwdriver you fucktard. Thats why the plumber charges you 60 to 80 bucks a fucking hour! Becuase he went to colledge just like a nurse or a doctor. Can you see a registered nurse selling you a fucking first aid kit? Martha fucking stewart co-ordinating your fucking window blinds to match the can of paint you are about to buy? Does the electrician you pay 100 bucks an hour for pick out your fucking lightbulbs? How fucking stupid are you people? Do you have any remote clue what it costs to run a business? "What do you mean you don't really have a plumbing expert! That 10 cent piece of pvc is really important" Because the plumbing expert is in the yellow pages under "PLUMBER" AND HIS ADD SAYS MINIMUM 60 DOLLAR OUT CALLS, $80 an hour. "What do you mean I can't get advice hear from someone who has played in the NHL about hockey pads?" (and yes I HAVE been asked that). Ummm excuse me sir but maybe that hockey player is making millions of fucking dollars playing hockey, instead of here selling jock straps.

God the entire human race is just a bunch of selfish illogical retards.

    that's soo truue.
i was a cashierr, and customers would constantly ask me advice about sh*t and i was all wtf im a f*cking cashier. then i realized, all you have to do is pretend you really know what you're talking about, and suggest anything just to get them to go away.
if they don't like whatever it is, let curtesy deal with it when they come back to return it.

Assholes rules the roost at Canadian Tire, as evidenced by the first and second posts on this thread.
To poster #1, I'd drop the pseudo-word "fucktard" from your vocabulary. It makes you sound like a moron and, if you ever used itr on me in person, you'd be lighter a few teeth after our encounter.

You obviously didn't do your e-leaning. You know when you finish, they pay you more and you sell better. Not to mention its mandatory. I agree that maybe you should be at a Mac Donald's. I for one loved giving customers advise it was fun to be able help custom fit thier needs. When its busy i know that its hard but that is where those half hour lessons on the difference between a steam cleaner and a shampooer come in: you make a suggestion, clarify the idea and move on. You have the bratty attitude that almost every spoiled part timer has. Do you think it was a privilege to get that job or something? They should have locked you up in the warehouse.

Remember: No customers = No sales. No sales = No Paycheck

    That clear enough?

Look, when a customer asks you a question and you don't know the answer, instead of lying out your teeth an causing hassle for other people, call over someone who will know. That way the customer will come to buy more stuff instead of returning the crap you sold them.

Why are we even debating this? Anyone who knows that Canadian Tire is shit and still goes there, ought to have their head examined.

do you honestly think a college student is going to dedicate the amount of time necessary to learn all products related to their department simply for a summer employment of maybe 3 months before they return to school? Use your head.

I think that if you agree to take a job and collect a paycheque for it, you should at least try and make an effort.
