I purchased an assortment of nuts and bolts in a plastic hard case. I had expected they would fit each other but they didn't. Not on nut in the box would fit any of the bolts. NOT ONE...

I returned them to the store explaining the problem. They told me "nowhere on the package does it say they match". (Well how dumb is this.??) They told me they would contact their buyer though pointing out the problem.

I've never bothered to buy these assortments again.

Do you happen to have the CT part number, so we can know what to watch out for?

Was there anything on the packaging that suggests that they should be in any way usable together? Besides common sense, of course!

No sorry I can't remember the product number. That was the argument from the Customer Service Rep. "It doesn't say they fit each other". Bimbo...!!!

I have since purchased a stainless steel mixture in a plastic case at home depot for our sailboat. They all fit each other. I have also purchased a mixed set of standard steel a plastic case at Home Hardware... they all fit.

How dumb is CTC purchasing dept. to not check this?
