    Customer's been told how to approach the store, then the Ministry, then the courts.

    You're right - it doesn't matter what he exact item is - same laws apply.

    the only ones arguing are the crappy tire people who want to keep their customers money and dont want customers finding out their rights

    Good Point.

    If customers didn't have a chance at getting a refunds, there'd be no point in the CTer trying to convince anybody.

    Yup, for sure they are only here to save their customers time and frustration, LOL!
