I went to canadian tire to return a scooter that my granddaughter recieved for her 6th birthday.
I went to the return desk and explane to the girl that i would like to return the scooter.she then inform me that because I didn't have a receite that i would have to find another scooter or something else for the same amount as the scooter right there and now. I said know probablem I went to look for a scooter and there were know scooters that was in my granddaughters age so we thought maybe toys and she could get something else, We couldn't find the toys so I asked someone where the toys would be he then imform me that all the toys were put away. sooooo I then went up to the return desk again and told her what was going on and asked if I maybe could get a gift card and maybe come again an other day she just point out said NO and that was it. so my granddaughter and I wondered around the store again thinking that there could be something else for her but nothing. So I went to the return desk again and said i will take the scooter back with me and to see if i could get the person that bought her the scooter in hopeing they have the reciete and they could return it. Now we have been in the store for about 1/2 hour and still haven.t got anywhere. Now wanting toget out of the store for i felt like a hostage as it is for I wasn't going to leave with out some thing
if she would of just gave me a gift card it would have saved me and her the girl at the desk alot of time and grieve for when i told her that i wanted to take the scooter back she had to call a manager to undo the transaction that she did when i came in the beging it took another 20 min to just do that because know one new how to do it and I also asked the manager if i could have a gift card and he said no and turned away from me.
Now i don't know about you people but been treated like that I rather not shop in a store like that I could go on about other insedents that happened in that store in the last 3 yrs but I just getting to tired of wasting my time on canadian tire
