I 100% agree with the employee who was verbally abused! I too was in a situation where my manager had to escort a customer out because he pushed his chainsaw across the counter which resulted in landing on my foot...all because he told me he purchased it 2 years ago and did not have a receipt, I was not going to return it...now you crazy ass idiots...do you agree that is proper behavior?? That's fricken employee abuse and we do not have to take it!!!

You are right, you don't. It's against the law and if you work for anyone that doesn't show assholes the door, then inform them of their responsibilities as an employer.
It's easy to spot the assholes on here with their advocacy of employee abuse and belief that retailers should give customers whatever they want, every time they ask, but they are all about "they win-you lose" mentality. A win-win customer doesn't treat staff at stores shitty.

i agree with you - nobody deserves to be abused - especially not in the workplace

i also agree that people posting here shouldn't advocate employee abuse - but i haven't read anybody posting here advocating that.

i would also like to point out that i haven't seen anybody at all write that they should get 'whatever they want'

this is something people keep writing but it is not at all true

other than those two factual errors i'd have to agree with you
