    Yes, consumers would be very interested to see the "ample evidence" that refute any claims on this site.

    However, there simply isn't any, which explains why the CT rep's have only lies and insults to post here.

    Don't forget that "Jump Start" is also a "Faker Advocate Site", according to the CT rep's own definition.

    Also be sure to check out the list of dozens of lies the CT rep routines posts on this site.

    There aren't other retailers that offer repair warranties, right out of the box?

    There are examples where CT or any other retailer have been found to have an illegal policy?

    Well, the CT Liar has been at it again – no surprise there.

    In addition to the usual insults directed at their customer base, the CT Liar has posted a few routine lies about what consumers wrote:

    - The lie that consumers have been posting negative comments about Jump Start (or even anything about charities in general).
    - The lie that consumers claimed to have links to ‘findings’ regarding the illegality of CT’s policies.
    - The usual vague claims that consumer posted some lies or other, without any specifics or evidence.
    - Some vague claims about other web sites, including claims that a particular person owns CT Sucks.

    Also, when the CT Liar gets proven wrong, they tend to post lies about what the CT Liar previously wrote. In particular, that there is “ample evidence” to support their claims, when really there is next to nothing, and the "Faker Advocates" are not defined as having "Donate" buttons, and needing credit card information.

    Plus, the usual re-telling of standard lies already documented on this thread:

    CT Law Lie #8 – A customer is not entitled to an exchange on a “Repair Only” product.

    CT Law Lie #9 - A customer is not entitled to a refund for a “Repair Only” or “Exchange Only” product.

    CT Lie #24 – The CPA describes retailer obligations regarding the ‘express’ warranties provided by manufacturers.

    Hidden among your BS is a fractional bit of truth, legitimate complaints and areas for improvement, which we do watch for. Too bad it's only fractional and the rest is junk.

    Oh, so it's ok for the self-appointed CT Rep to tell all the lies they want, as long as the people they are lying to or about, are NOT their customers.

    Yup a very interesting view of ethics, and right or wrong.

    Well, I'm glad they are showing their true lying selves on here, and I hope they never clue in that some of the viewers on this site might just be actual customers.

    I'm sure that their abysmal lack of honesty would open a few customers eyes, LOL.

    Oh, and it's nice of them to offer up a few more lies on this recent post, including this claim that the opinion of experts are only those of consumers (Lie #23, I think).

    Of course, it makes no sense at all that they would spend so much effort trying to fool people who are NOT customers, into giving up their rights.

    Yes, the self appointed CT Rep is a strange creature indeed.

    And we are already shopping Walmart, Costco, Home Depot - anybody except CT. And we are taking everybody we can reach with us, too.

    It makes no sense that a non-customer of CT would spend so much effort trying to convince an owner of a store that they don't shop, that he was wrong about something.

    Ah, consumers.

    Isn't it amusing, how the self-appointed CT Rep somehow imagines themself to be at the centre of the universe?

    They seem to have trouble imagining a site where consumers post information for the benefit of one-another, and that the CT Reps have no real part in that.

    Pretty funny, when you realize how long ago it was, when consumers stopped trying to get a confession out of the CT Rep!

    So, fellow consumers, just remember to check in once in a while for another hilarious run-down of the CT Rep's entertaining shenanigans!

    You keep using words like "us" and consumers in the plural. It's really mainly just you....just because you post under various personalities (super easy to spot) doesn't mean you have a wide audience. If you believe your rights have been trounced upon, there are many lawyers that would love to represent you....that's what they do....but you don't go down that path because you know you're wrong...you just wish you were correct.
    You're lack of action proves the point in spades.
    How about writing Ellen Roseman and getting her to say the policies are illegal?
    How about contacting a major media reporter....I bet they would like to get the "scoop" on these illegal policies and the rights of consumers being trounced.
    How about getting the Ministry to list all the illegal policies....they have a large website.
    Did you try the BBB....surely they will list companies that contravene CPA and SOGA laws

    Certainly makes you wonder why none of that exists and why you haven't sought it out yourself.

    As usual, there were lies about what consumers had written, like pretending consumers wrote about manufacturer's warranties, instead of the implied warranty from the CPA that retailers have to abide by (and which their 'repair only', 'exchange only' and "no warranty' policies violate).

    Plus, there were the usual denials about the laws in Ontario (and elsewhere):

    CT Lie #9 - A customer is not entitled to a refund for a “Repair Only” or “Exchange Only” product.

    CT Lie #22 – There are only a few people who have the opinion and interpretation that Ontario consumers are entitled to a refund or exchange for a defective item. None of those people are reliable.

    Over all, a fairly quiet Sunday, LOL!
