Still waiting for a reply that actually addresses my two posts losers.
DVD's and movies - can you return them and demand a refund? how does the CPA apply since the consumer has "THE RIGHT" (according to you losers) to a refund for every defective product
Appliances - Manufacturers warranty applies - that means they send out a repair person to fix your broken fridge. Isn't that ummmm illegal??
Come on losers..... we're playing a game here, can't you compete?
hi
it seems to me you are asking the wrong forum.
i think red flag deals has answers to questions like this.
this is for canadian tire stuff - do they even sell dvds and big appliances?
maybe you can call the ministry on monday - they should know.
good luck with your questions - hope you get your dvd and appliance issues resolved!
Yeah, you probably don't want to solicit the opinons and interpretations of random people on the internet.
Instead, you might some of the links I found over on this thread - they sounds pretty reputable: https://www.canadiantiresucks.net/ge....html#post3613
lol clearly you're not comprehending any of what's going on. I'm a CT Dealer. You are the losers. To debunk your myths about return policies and defective products and warranties I researched BestBUy & Future Shop and quickly found their policy on DVD and movie returns which says no exchange or return. On a defective DVD, exchange only for the exact samd dvd. I want to know how this differs from any of canadian tire's policies that do not allow a cash back refund on certain items and since you claim the CPA says a consumer has THE RIGHT to a refund, how does the CPA apply in this case.
Secondly Home depot's appliance policy says after 48 hours, manufacturers warranty applies. Again, same claim that the CPA should apply according to your "consumer can DEMAND a refund" claim. So if after 3 weeks your fridge dies, load it into your pick em up truck and bring it back....get your cash.
I want to know according to all you retail experts out here.... what's the answer. What happens with the CPA. Can a customer get their money back given any of the two above situations.
Um, you say you are a "CT Dealer", but your are coming to CanadianTireSucks.net to get advise from "retail experts"?
Doesn't that seem kind of dumb?
I mean, shouldn't you know this stuff already? I think its kind of your job or something.
How come you don't just take my advise and look up those CPA references, or call the Ministry on Monday?
Why do you want people on here to do your research for you?
It sounds like you don't believe what they tell you, anyway!
Just sayin'.
i think theyre right
you should talk to somebody who at least says they are an expert. not just somebody who only quotes web sites, and doesn't really offer any opinons of their own.
(except for "if its against the law then its illegal". i can figure THAT much out for MYSELF!)
i don't care how reputable the site looks - always better to get somebody who really knows there stuff, you know?
hey, doesn't ct have people you can go to on this stuff? You know, instead of asking anonymous strangers on the internet?
maybe there's a special Dealer phone number or something. maybe a guy at another store that you know?
You know i dont buy any of this 'oh i'm a big-shot dealer' stuff
For one thing wtf are they doing on this goofy site on a friday night - arent they supposed to be rich?
Hire some kid to do it for you LOL!
Plus if they were a dealer for real theyd know this stuff already and not be seeking opinions on here
Hey i did a little searching on here for the word 'expert'
Nobody seems to be stepping up and saying, oh i'm this big expert
Just the opposite, oh i'm no expert. Just other people saying, oh youre such an expert, tell me such and such
Plus i think this so called dealer is the one who writes 'you lose loser'
Not executive material LOL
So i just not feeling this person as a for real dealer
Maybe their kid or something
