Going out of business soon? They just got regulatory approval to buy Forzani group for over 700 million, all cash offer. You really need to get educated.

Woo ! Crappy Tire plans to expand their business. You customers just out of luck.

There will be more and more store 164, in the name of Forzani, more and more Cera , Marzia. You abused customers better watch out.

I'm glad you came back to let everyone know how it turned out. For every situation, there's a way to help the customer out. Looks like Store 164 found that way, so good on them, looks to be a great store as far as I can tell.

But what does it matter, it's only a matter of time before someone says giving them what they wanted wasn't enough, you should have given them a $100 giftcard, or something equally ridiculous.
I did saw the customer bought the tree at the customers service counter, the couple did not seem to have language barrier, they did ask for refund back to their credit card. Your colleague said something like policy so and so, and refused.

But I don't know what happen later, I was on my way out.

Maybe CT, the corperation, really eager to get out of this business through switch to some other name, althought it is not a good name.

Knowing that their franchisees, all Crappy Tires are lie, cheat, deny their faults, alway on defence with their stories, rude to customers, don't honour their return policy, etc. etc. All these issues are detrimental to retail shop. No hope ! finito !

Everyone knows, there are many many unsatisfied customers, who just have no time to complain, or don't know how to complain, What has been show here really is the tip of an iceberg.

Lmao.....check out all the other 600 sucks.com sites. Good luck finding a business that doesn't have detractors. It's
the Canadian (American) way after all.
By the way, 2nd quarter sales numbers are in...CTC saw same store sales up by over 5%, Walmart down for 9th consecutive quarter, Sears....way, way down. Yep, we must be losing the customer service battle alright!

Once again CT douchebag wants to paint a distorted economic picture of their competition, much like they do with customers at the returns desk. Thank goodness I've provided links that CT always neglects when it's not in their favour.

Walmart is down 9 quarters in a row, but looking at the broader picture Walmart is actually doing pretty good. Walmart beat analysts estimates! Commendable when their revenues are 260 billion globally.

Is Canadian Tire global? What happened to their expansion plans in the USA? Are any of the founders on the top 100 rich list? What's that? None of them? Not even in Canada? Then CT needs to shut the fuck up!

Now lets look at the all mighty king of bad-returns-bullshit-cash-refunds "money in the bank millionaire store owners" Crappy Tire.

CT-car repair liars can't be truthful about their own financial results either.

CT earnings and profit for the 2nd quarter are actually down, and came in below analysts estimates!!! Profit down 13.9%, earnings down 13.7% !!!

Ha-ha!

More B.S. from the lying CT people.

All of a sudden, we've got all these reports showing up, weeks after the fact, claiming that it was all the customer's fault, they were aggressive, etc.

No, all we need to do is go back to the original post.

Heed the warnings of the people who got screwed over by this store. No reason to thing they didn't tell the full truth in the first place.

All this tells us, is that the bozos at Crappy Tire would rather tell a bunch of lies, instead of fixing their problems.

Naturally, the other Crappy People (assuming it's not just the same person writing many times), just right on the band-wagon, pretending it's all for real, and somehow proves that Crappy Tire doesn't suck!

Any verifiable evidence of anything the Crappy People wrote? Of course not! Any contact info. from the store? No way! Any answers from that email address? Nope!

They can't even tell consistent lies! Very amusing!

So typical of the B.S we see from these Crappy People.

And even more reasons not to do business with the store at Major Mac.

Thanks for the update. Seems Crappy Tire's financial division, which used to be making up for their crappy retial division, is taking a dip. Now, they are relying on high gas prices to make up for their crappy store sales.

These Crappy People are obsessed with some strange things, like on-line retailers (how's your e-store doing, CT?), and U.S. retailers (thinking about another expansion south, Crappy People?).

Yes, very amusing to watch them squirm!

Go ahead. Start charging a membership to rip off your customers even more. Keeping refunds from customers aren't enough for the owners, you gotta start making up even more fee's and do a better job of it. You CT slackers aren't doing a good enough job as M.Billes isn't even on the top 100 rich list, shame on you all! Restocking fee's are a start. You should have new fees like exchange fee's, id fee's, asking a red shirt a question fee, security goon fee, employee minimum wage fee, coin operated bathroom stall fee, toilet paper and flushing fee, changing store policy on the fly fee, waiting in line for an exchange fee. And if the customers makes more than 2 trips for the same problem you should charge double the fee, three trips triple the fee, how about parking fee's, and double that up for handicap parking spots. Go ahead and start charging. Money, money in the bank lol. CT millionaires making millions more. Maybe then you'll be able to have your own private golf course and hit the back 9 in your housecoat and have helicopter parking like the real rich do.

uh oh...*koff *koff...the economy aint doing so good...it looks like you'll have to close some stores. Bad economy = no jobs = no body buying your crap.

Smarter Consumer Education 101. There are better deals in the USA and they will ship to Canada!!! They are so nice to work with that, depending on what you order will take into account our higher exchange rate, and throw in shipping. Not to mention that the same goods in the US is usually 25% to 60% cheaper than what they charge here :)

p.s. Walmart has been accepting lower american prices on some goods. Check them out.

Close stores? Nobody buying our crap?
Umm no....and no! Lots of people buying our merchandise....same store sales are UP over 2010. Just thought you'd like to no.
Close stores? Again how about negative. In fact just announced a couple of new stores in new markets. IE - Canadian Tire where there's never been one before. Funny how we are doing the EXACT opposite of what you're claiming.

Openning new stores, you mean you Crappy people can no longer fool the customers with existing stores anymore, trying to fool new customers ? you really don't know what shame is all about.

Thank God, you don't sell your Crappy shares in your store. You sure will ask for $135.00, an outdated price. As of now . the day low is $ 66.25.

Think about what you're saying. If you had an underperforming company with no customers would you EXPAND?
Wow you're a business genius. Are you running the United States economy? Greece perhaps?

Guess where money for expansions come from?! Existing successes.... profits. that comes from existing happy customers, who return and spend more money.

I happen to be rather proud of the company I represent and that my name is on the front door. The people of this town appreciate our presence, the organizations we contribute to appreciate us, the people who put food on their table with the wages they earn here appreciate us and my family who has been afforded a free and flexible lifestyle as a result of taking some risks and supporting me are appreciative.

The only thing crappy here is your ability to see things inteligently and understand facts.

Now we have CT toady spewing more crap

Some of the stories I read here leave me bewildered, wondering "why would a manager do that?". Appears that, only part of the story shows. Just like someone earlier today saying there's no warranty on a $649.99 pool. He didn't look into it, he didn't go to a store to find out. He took what seems to be a misleading piece of information on the website to be this huge fiasco. Instead, if the customer bought the pool and brought it back, chances are there would be no problems.

...The blind haters can chew on that for a while.

Funny, you don't say!?!? Isn't that what the couple did before they bought the trees? They asked 3 CT lackeys specific refund and exchange policies before they made the purchase? Didn't the receipt even say 90 days? And what did the CT returns desk goons do when they brought back one bad tree. What happened to the couple when they couldn't get the refund according to store policy? That's right they were tossed out by security. And did the couple get the "cash refund" they were promised if they returned, as CT stated in writing? Nope, baited and switched and given only a credit.

So CT douche bag is now saying that it would be an entirely different experience if they brought back a pool with no warranty instead, warranty info from CT website. Are they saying now that even they can't rely on their own website!?!? Trust them? Sure buddy, sure.
Truth is a unicorn at Crappy Tire.

Can't wait till Target moves next door to them :)

"Intelligence" included understanding humour, your "see things inteligently", apparantly missing something,

CT is a franchise, if you believe new store is financed by " existing successes .... profit ". Convince others by making yourself a dealer, so called CT franchisee. Then, you know where the money comes from to open a new store.

Since you work there, you probably have a very good picture , and that is why you don't want to be a dealer.

To say being proud is easy, but actually incur monetary loss is your NO NO NO.

I have no idea what you just said.....speak english.

In any event, if you're as educated about CT as you seem to want to be you'd know that despite being a franchised operation the building and often the land is owned by Canadian Tire. That's millons of bucks in investments.
So yah, I know exactly where the money comes from to open a new store. There's an investment by both the Corporation and the Dealer that will operate the store.

Nice try though. I stick by my guns, companies expand when they are doing well, not when they are struggling.

That “someone” turned out to be completely correct about this pool, and that it indeed has “no warranty”, and therefore is a product with “No return, No exchange, No refund”. A great way to waste $649.99!

First of all, another Crappy Person already has already confirmed that Crappy Tire does not offer any returns, exchanges, or even repairs. See https://www.canadiantiresucks.net/g...ire-lose-money-giving-refunds-6.html#post5044.

Secondly, if you’d taken a minute or two to check out your own store’s web site, you'd have seen the Q&A on this, confirming problems that customers have had, when Crappy Tire refuses to stand behind their products.

You really should do some basic research before embarrassing yourself here, and misrepresenting your company and the products they sell.
