Thread: Crappy Tire's Financial State

    Re: Crappy Tire's Financial State

Well, consumers: you can see how it work.

    - We post facts the CTers don't like.
    - The CTers claim that no such facts exist, and demand a re-post.
    - After much goading, we reluctantly re-post the facts the CTers said don't exist.
    - Instead of acknowledging the obvious, the CTers simply try 'moving the goalpost', and claim other details must be reported, too.

As we all should have known, debate with these ... ceatures is pointless, if admitting defeat might cost them a bit of the 'coin' they prize far above ethics.

    No thank, CTers!

It's always interesting to hear the various theories, on whether the Red Triangle of Crap segment of this company is doing well or doing poorly, based on financial statements that conver multiple business units. The CTers say all is well, even when the results are obviously poor. Very strange!

And the theories about future performance are also interesting. The CTers look back, and try to re-write history, as if the stores in the past faced the same opposition as those in the present market.

And the stores have clawed way back on customer service, automotive and especially return policies, as even some CTers have had the coutprage to admit. At least some at the helm seem to have clued in, at least in Auto, and are trying avert disaster - not doing too well, by the look of CT's Facebook page! OUCH!

I guess the investors see at least some value in the other units, to offset the looming disaster in CTR - their almanac must call for a dry summer, LOL!

But we can just leave it to consumers to decide for themselves what they think of these financial statements:

Now, that's the kind of thing the CTers would just love to jump on. Have they been banned from this site, or something?

We shouldn't let our justifiable hatred of all things Crappy get out of hand. Arson is dangerous and illegal.

But, I must say, I have very little sympathy for anything bad that happens, to a company that routinely exploits Canadians, on both sides of the counter.

I heard some Crappy Results are due out soon.

It will be interesting to see how the Red Triangle of Crap stores are doing. Up slightly? Down slightly?

Are they still dragging down the overall CT Corporate earnings?

All I could find was this: http://corp.canadiantire.ca/EN/Inves...ct%20Sheet.pdf

It says same-store sales are up slightly. Could be the other banners continue to shore to the Red Triangle. Waiting to see!
