So I see that you`ve glossed over some of your most recent and favourite arguments regarding CT dealers wealth and Martha Billes wealth now that you`ve been proven wrong, and instead resorted to an old favourite ... Simoniz Pressure Washer.

approximately 4 months ago, as requested, i provided the defect and return rates from my store for Simoniz units. Now at the time you called me a liar, for providing numbers taht don`t suit your claims, but that`s okay you`ve also been claiming the same for our status as millionaires.

Yah we have weaknesses, every business does, every retailer does... but really your blind slamming of an entire company that you know very very little about is becoming ridiculous.

Hi.

For some weird reason, you (or someone like you?) posted on this thread, something about dealer earnings or something?

I guess that was in response to something on some other thread, because I don't see anything on here about any customers making any claims about that, one way or another.

You seem really bent out of shape, that nobody here has responded to your post.

How about tracking down the original thread, where a customer claimed whatever it was?

I bet they'd be glad to respond to you there.

Just an idea, since you seem so disappointed, and everything.

Also, you should know that there are more than one customers who post here. So, you really can't address them as one single entity.

Good luck with your proof of whatever it was, though!

Well, there are several personalities that post on here, but but I'd dispute that it's multiple people. LOL!

really? you have proof of this?

please provide it

also, while you are at it, can you prove that there is more than one store representative posting here?

because it could easily be just one person pretending to be multiple store reps

the point is, nobody know for sure.

Yep, no believing much on the web. Just people spouting anonymous opinions. Not worth very much.

DavidLer sure shut up fast when he was proven wrong so many times and stupidly posted that he supported fraud....what an embarrassment, even for a faker advocate.

The Crappy People sure are obsessed with DavidLeR. Got a lock of his hair yet??? Ha-ha!

Able to disprove anything he wrote yet? I guess not, LOL!

And this whole "fraud" ruse? It was quickly disproven to not be fraud at all! Pretty funny!

(But there WAS a good idea about returning unopened items within 90 days, to re-buy them at the sale price. Brilliant!)

Oh, and where's that list of convictions of people who used the receipt for an item they still have unopened at home? "LOL Hilarious!"

Hey, tell us again about that article with the title, "Canadian Tire in Target’s crosshairs".

Can you please explain how the article really says that Canadian Tire is NOT in Target's crosshairs?

"LOL Hilarious!"

I'm a busy mom of 3 and I'm excited about Targets coming into town. It would be nice to see what they could do what Zellers couldn't. I've been there every now and then and it's practicaly dead inside. Theres more staff than there are shoppers and you could literally hear crickets chirping.

Right now we're turned off by Canadian Tire. My husband no longer goes there as there's too much hassle involved with the store and the managers there are jerks when it comes to returns with a receipt.

Makes one wonder what type of return policies Target will have for Canadians.

Will they refuse refunds for items that are not in the original, unsealed packaging? Probably not.

Will they refuse refunds for defective items? Not likely.

Yes, Crappy Tire would be wise to re-think their restrictive policies if they want to hold onto their lucrative small appliance and household cleaning categories.

OMG they're selling appliances!!! I definitely will stay away far away from them on that front too. They can't change the oil without screwing up. I can imagine having one of their guys installing a washer and then flooding my house. And from the CTV W5 link ( Thanks by the way, I didn't know that) I doubt the corporate office will even take responsibility.

I still see that none of you faker advocates have responded to my link on the wealth of the dealers or the share owner ship of M.Billes. Why is that? When faced with FACTs all you do is run. You lose loser.

Try to guess what the so-called "return policy" is on these expensive items.

"No returns".

Yes, I'm sure you'll do well going head-to-head with competitors who will actually stand behind what they sell.

Nice job, Crappy Tire.

Nice job!

Faker advocates don't like facts. Facts expose them for the social losers they are. Their egos can't handle more rejection. My guess is they actually feel important being able to post lies and opinions on this site. They could never do it in a social setting due to the ridicule and challenge they would receive, plus stamping your feet when you don't get your way is expected of children, but not adults.
Yes, faker advocate needs sites like these. Sure hope he donates daily.

I was going to get brand new washer and dryer set for the best "price" but now I'm looking at customer reviews too. CT and another competitor are out.

So, Home Depot might be about as crappy as Crappy Tire for defective appliances (if we believe what the Crappy People wrote).

Big deal - we all know Home Depot is far superior for all other merchandise, especially outdoor power equipment. It's old news that for general merchandise, Crappy Tire has the worst policy among major Canadian retailers.

But this thread is about the "Coming Competition". Crappy Tire is going to be competing on things like home appliances, houseware, and cleaning products. The Crappy Policies aren't going to look very good up against Target.

How will Crappy Tire survive? Adapt or perish.

Based on the obnoxious and self-satisfied posts of the Crappy People here, I'm expecting they will continue to adapt poorly.

The HD policy at the link provided says consumers have 48 hours to get a refund for a defective appliance.

That might seem short to some consumers, who are used to at least 30 days.

But how much time does Crappy Tire give their customers to return a defective appliance?

Zero days!

Nada. Zip. Zilch. Not one friggin' minute!

So, the Home Depot policy is, literally speaking, infinitely better than the Crappy Tire policy. Good to know!

Thanks for providing that info, Angry CT Person!

Oh, and by the way? I have it on good authority that “against the law is illegal”.

So any law requiring a retailer to give refunds for goods that are not of “merchantable quality” would count as “illegal”. Something like the Sale of Goods Act, or the Consumer Protection Act, for example.

Yeah, I'm sure you'll do fine against the new competition.

After all, the people who choose you only for your low prices are sure to stick with you, even when they can get it at next door for even less, and with a better return policy!

Ha-ha-ha-ha!

If it wasn't a big deal how we stack up against another competitor in this area, why was it brought up by a CT hater as something we will fail at?

Another prime example of a ct hater just randomly typing away about how great Home Depot and others are, without actually KNOWING. kind of like the stock performance comment from last week.

That's the same info I've been finding with returns betweens Crappies and the other stores.

Mad crappy defender will throw out anything even other store policies that he'll gladly point out to everyone as bad. But when you actually read it, the customers getting treated fairly and not SHAFTED. How about that, CT shot themselves in the foot. It makes me want to read the other threads regarding the Sales of Goods Act

HomeDepot and the rest are in for my appliances purchase this week. Unfortunately for CT I've seen enough with my own eyes at the store to steer clear of you for car repairs and other things.
