Get this! Now the Crappy Person is claiming they are NOT defending themeselves and their beloved store!

(Naturally, this claim is preceeded, and followed, by statements defending their mis-deededs while attacking consumers.)

Wow! There are OTHER sites dedicated to revealing the wrong-doings of Crappy Tire! Maybe our 'customer-centric' friend will post some links to them all!

    Please, spare us.

The Crappy People have said over and over how they care about only one thing: Profit.

And they are proud of it.

It's a little late now to start trying to spread some sunshine and love to cover over their greed.

That guy who got ripped off when they said a repairable tire couldn't be fixed? No way will they agree that was legitimate.

That guy they wouldn't accommodate for an urgent snow-tire change? Nope, that wasn't a legitimate complaint either (even though the Crappy Person admitted that they do that all the time).

Ha-ha! Maybe they could start by educating the public on their terrible return policies, instead of hiding them and lying about them.

Maybe they could stop cheating customers in their auto service centers. Lot of stories on this site and others.

Another vague accusation, without anything to back it up.

I guess we're all just supposed to believe everything the Crappy People say, about flat tires, about snow tires, and now about this site, too.

But in case anyone is tempted to believe them, take a look at this popular thread:

    Will Crappy Tire survive?

This article doesn't paint a very rosy picture.

If the article is right, and "The Shopper is Now in Charge", Crappy Tire is going to either step up to the new reality, or see their customers go elsewhere.

Based on the Crappy Attitudes I've seen on this site, I think they'll cling to their crappy policies and poor service decisons, until they can't afford to keep the lights on anymore.

Dude what article did you read? There is nothing that refers to the ability of any retailer to survive (canadian tire or otherwise) it simply says that consumers have access to more information through digital media options, and that more companies are either coming to Canada or expanding within.

Your analysis is ummmm not even close. it's just your take on a company you love to hate, canadian tire.

I wonder what life is like in your world?! A world where everything seems to spin back to your detest for canadian tire. Kind of pathetic actually

    Oh-oh!

The moronic Owner1 has decided to re-visit us, and give us an encore of their ignorance and lack of reading comprehension!

Those who can read at a grade 3 level will have realized by now that it's this thread (and not the artilce) that's about Crappy Tire's survival odds.

Those who want to know what the article said are free to follow the links, and form their own opinion. Best not to rely on the deluded distortions of Crappy People like Owner1.

But with people like Owner1 running their stores, it sure doesn't look promising for them!

(Hint: that part isn't in the article, so no need to search for it, LOL!)

Yup, always amusing to hear just how badly the Crappy People try to twist reality to match their comfy little fantasy world - "LOL Hilarious"!

Those mam are your words, not mine. Grade 3 reading you say? sure it is. Will we survive, read this article it doesn't paint a rosy picture. sure looks to me like you're saying that the article is stating we may not survive.

Comfy world.... you bet ya! Life is good as a Canadian Tire owner

Amazing how much content the Crappy People will invent, if it help hide how much they suck.

And amazing how much they will ignore, it it helps them hide from reality.

Gee, could it be that the Crappy Owner totally missed the point of the retail conference itself, and of the article entitled "Shoppers win Round One of retail war"?

YOU'RE versed to talk abour reality when it comes to retail? bahhhhahahhaa that's awesome
Okay here's a test. Let's discuss Canadian Tire's results for the last quarter, or quarter before that, year before.... reality is we are doing some pretty great things in the market, and the results are showing in Canadian Tire, Marks, Forzani and Petroleum. REALITY check it out

As far as the couple of gas station owners caught price fixing, hope they get what they deserve. As you always like to say, against the law is illegal...and nobody under our banners would support what they were caught doing. For the dealer above who's not doing so well, that's his fault, and yes I know who he is. If you'd read back to many posts i've made, you'll note (though not likely acknowledge) that we are well aware that not EVERY dealer has a massive net worth, there are a few that are negative equity. That's no big secret, it is what it is. No system is perfect, ours included but it's DAMN good!!!

Re: Will Crappy Tire Survive The Coming Competition?

    <yawn>

Yup, just the same old unsubstantiated crap and self-serving 'opinion'.

Oh, and the usual mis-quotes (pretending people said things, when they really didn't).

Hey, speaking of 'markets', we're still waiting for all that proof you kept saying you had, about every single battery warranty in Canada - any estimate on when you'll get around to posting that?

Oh, and that Star article? It wasn't about the way retailing used to be, or even about the way it is now. It's about the way retailing is going to be.

Better starting thinking about that, instead of posting half-truths on the internet, LOL!
