Think they'll get back to him? History says "No"!

Mitch K.: I am not going to send you details. Look me up my name and location should be in your system. Bought the tires in late November early December. Canadian Tire off of Lougheed in Coquitlam near Brunette Ave. My number is in the system. Call me if you want. I will tell all about the horrific experience I had and how I will never ever go again to a Canadian Tire.

But what really wins the Gold, is that Crappy Tire actually paid Facebook, to spam Sheila! LMAO!

Sheila T.B.: Great commercial. Perhaps they can now concentrate on their customer service....it's been 4 years and I still will never shop in their store. They lost my blizzac winter tires, and they ordered me new ones from somewhere else as they don't carry the brand. But they ordered the wrong size! By the time they got it figured all out, April was here and I then I bought a new car. Will never shop there again!!!!
On another note.....that day....they also misplaced my car keys.....and my car!!!! Lmao couldn't believe it. I had to point out to them that my car was on the hoist....and I bet you....the keys are in them! Wow.

Shelly D.: MY STATUS SATURDAY APRIL 20th. My TWEET as well. I went to Canadian Tire five and a half hours ago to get my tire valve replaced. 5 hrs later they drive it in to the bay on the once again very flat tire, don't bother to put a drop of air in it, just drove on in. 5 minutes later they tell me your tire is shredded you need new. I say that just happened when your mechanic drove on it flat. No no they say. I FREAKED!!! ACCOMPLISHED NOTHING!!! AND CAME HOME ON MY SPARE. STUCK there for 5 1/2 hours, for them to destroy my tire with their laziness. I would have bought the mechanic a can of air if I'd known he'd do something so stupid!!!!! This is not over CANADIAN TIRE WOODBINE AND MAJOR MACKENZIE MARKHAM, NOPE!!!

Dave B.: I called CT to get a price on 4 new tires. After being on hold for over a half hour on two separate occasions, I called back and asked the lady I spoke with if there was anyone in the automotive department and explained that I have been on hold for a while. She said in a saucy tone "there is only one guy there and he is busy". I would have been happy ifthe person at the counter would have picked up for 30 seconds to tell me he was busy and he would be with me as soon as he could. So when I mentioned to the lady that to be put on hold for so long with out anyone even checking the phone just didnt seem right, she replied again, but more saucy than before " well I told you he is busy". And before I had the chance to reply, she hung up on me. At no point was I ever rude to her, so it was totally uncalled for. And that was enough to turn me off from CT.

Dave B.: I called CT as I needed new tires for my car ASAP. I have a 13 month old baby girl so like the commercial says, "alot is riding on my tires". I called twice ( on the same day ) and each time was put on hold for almost 15 minutes each time, with noone even picking up the phone to say they were very busy and they would be with me as soon as they can. I would have been happy with an answer like that. But after being on hold for so long the second time, I hung up and called right back. I politely asked the lady I spoke with if there was anyone working in the automotive department. She was snippy as she replied " there is only one guy there and he is busy". So when I mentioned I was on hold twice so far for almost a half hour without any kind of response, that just didn't seem right. She said the second time, but now just rude, " I said there was only one guy there and he is busy". Before I had the chance to reply, she hung up on me. That was enough to turn me off from Canadian Tire. But I have to be honext

Ah, tire swap season. Time for another outbreak of "Crappy Tire Installer Nearly Killed Me" stories!

Steve O.L.: I store my tires at Canadian Tire (Summers and Winters). Recently, I had my summer tires put back on. A couple of weeks later, I had to bring my SUV into the dealer because it was making a strange noise and the steering seemed off. I thought something happened to the front strut or possibly the axle. Imagine my surprise when the dealer called and said he could loosen the front right tire's nuts BY HAND! Since Canadian Tire put my summers on, I've been driving around a vehicle that could have lost a tire at any second! Fortunately, there appears to have been no damage to the rim or anything else, so it only cost me $72. Will Canadian Tire reimburse me?

Brenda T.: Thank you AMA & Don's Tire and Auto in Red Deer for helping me get my wheels back rolling again! I appreciate all your help today, especially when two other tire shops (Canadian Tire and Kal Tire) wouldn't even put air in my tire to get me to another tire shop!

Xugang C.:Worst technician I ever seen in Canada. I brought my car to Canadian Tire last Sunday because one of my ties is leaking(I fixed it two months ago at Canadian Tire). Basically I know nothing about cars, I hope they can fix it for me. I told them I want to buy a new tire and they do give the right size one but the rate is wrong. They should know that my 2007 Accord should use no lower than V-rate tire but they still give a H-rate tire and they never ask what kind of tire I want(but technician in Costco do tell me that). Today when I brought it back and want to refund the tire, they told me they can't do it because I never asked a specific rate. You guys call yourself TECHNICIAN but me. CANADIAN TIRE SUCKS.

Piltonus M.: Just a week ago I had my summer tires installed, and a couple of feedback improvement comments being a mechanic myself. I was a little surprised when the SW didn't mention to come back after 100k or so to get the wheel nuts re-torqued, but whatever I always do that myself. When I did go to do that, I discovered some untrained tire-monkey likely used the air gun to do them up, not a torque wrench. They were tightened to 160 to 180 lb/ft and my vehicle calls for 110. That not only stretches and compromises the wheel stud, but makes it impossible to change a flat tire with the factory nut wrench should a person get one. This is unacceptable and the Service Manager should be reprimanded by the CT head office for not ensuring proper training has taken place.

it did not deflate because of the wrong size .. it was after all a 15" tire on a 15" inch rim

Roger J.: recently had tires installed on alloy rims at Canadian tire... the idiot tire installer hammered the balance weights that are for steel rims onto my alloy rims... they didn't seat properly and are loose, so instead of getting aggravated I went to a mom and pop style garage where an actual mechanic works on your car and had them re balanced... what a difference
