More tire suckage:
Sue G.: Imagine a company for which it is named and got its origins in tires can install tires on a car so incorrectly that within 24 hours there's a blowout and now the customer has to go and buy four new tires because one is damaged after the blowout. Perhaps Canadian Tire should go back to its roots and have less focus on patio sets and household items. These are all good but if your patio umbrella falls apart at least your life is not at risk. this is the 2nd time CT has installed tires on our vehicles with problems within 24 hours. If I had been killed in the blowout situation I wouldn't be here on FB to inform others. I should have listened to those who knew better too.
Stock issue:
Lisa T.: Hah! I called Canadian Tire looking for tires. The man said my car didn't exist because he couldn't find it in his "system"... I asked him "So... you don't have tires to fit my car?" He insisted my car did not exist and they stopped making them in 2006. I Hung up confused; wondered if that conversation really happened
David B.: They destroyed my snow tire and still haven't returned any of my calls. I was stuck with replacing myself! Never again!!
Another screwed-over customer:
Laura T.: I will never have this company do any motor vehicle work for me ever again I was a good customer and my dad was a valued employee for almost 30 years..... I bought 2 tires from one of your locations and had them installed there 2 months ago, guess what one of the new tires poped today.... and your company told me that they would not replace my tire and told me that there was nothing that they could do....... ok here is what I am going to say, I am a mother of 3 soon to be 4 children, I am on a fixed income and your company took money to do this work it equals out to be 2 weeks worth the groceries they took out of my children's mouth to have you not honor a warranty that the sneakily noted that there was no roadside something or other coverage..... so Tell me how this is right or fair..... my kids now have to walk to their out of area school because the little bit of lively hood I had busted because you are greedy.......... nice way to kick a pregnant woman down that was already in financial crisis !!!!!!!!!
Phil L.P.: avoid their mechanics. yesterday I got them to swap my new tires to my rims. it took them two hours to figure out they didn't have the tool, which I bought from Canadian tire, so they didn't even put them on the car, I got home went to put the tires on the car to find out they didn't even put more than ten psi in each tire, plus they had a lug nut of mine and still had a bushing that goes between the tire and rim...YOUR MECHANICS SUCK! I did a better job in my driveway in a quarter the time!!!!

Doreen T.: Canadian Tire District Mangers Suck!!!!!!2 years ago I brought 4 new tires at Mount Pearl Store NL,with in days 1 tire kept losing pressure, went back n they said it was the valve, replaced it,tire kept loosing pressure, took it back again, said nothing wrong with tire(,now that bad tire was on passenger side, but this time when I got car back tire was on drivers side, made me wonder)went back again n said i wanted tire replaced,no can do because nothing wrong with tire.Called head office n explained everything, told me they would contact store n get my tire replaced, which they did, store called n told me to come in.when i got there told i couldn't get tire replaced at that time because parts manager wasn't in,next time i went back told me they couldn't do it because now store manger wasn't in,went back a third time n they told me they couldn't do it because they couldn't find invoice #,finally gave up because i live 1 n half hours from that store, spent enough in gas to buy new tire.spent the last 2yrs pumping up that tire every couple of days,I finally replaced it last week, out of the 4 tires that was the only one I had to throw away, also brought 2 tire pumps in those 2 yrs.
John W.: I had went to canadian tire in Slave Lake, Alberta last fall to get new winters tires. And, as they changed my tires, they busted a few wheel bolts and all they can say was 'the last guy who changed my your tires must have tighted your wheel nuts too tight'. Then, the store wanted me to pay over $700.00 to fix my wheel bolts. $700.00 I didnt have!!! I just paid them $750.00 for new winter tires. So a month later I paid $650.00 to get new wheel bolts put on.
This lady (lady!) had to coach one of the so-called 'technicians' on how to change her tire! Hilarious!
Wendy L.: The fellows put on the tires ok but didn't know how to put the donut tire and jack in place. I walked the young fellow through instructions from my car manual. I had to go in and ask for them to do this for me and it took much longer of course.
Tracylynn A.: I had a problem with one of my tires. service Manager told me to,go to HELL.
