Thread: Canadian Tire Sucks at Auto Repairs - Unnecessary, over-priced, incompetent, incorrect and incomplete!

Latoya B.: Wow I think I'm done with them too... Don't trust them I've done everything at their garage and everytime I go I always need something done. The last time was my brakes but then I remembered wait I did my whole brakes system with them 2 or so years ago. When I asked them to check he said he couldn't find it in the system I just laughed... Just like they couldn't find my tires and insurance purchase when I popped my tire until I was pulling out the bill. They prey on women after 7 years of doing services there I'm done.. Scammers

Ashlyn J.: SO MY BOYFRIEND WENT TO GET HIS TIRE CHANGED AT ONE OF YOUR EDMONTON LOCATIONS. AFTER AN HOUR THEY TOLD HIM ITLL BE THE NEXT CAR. THEN AN HOUR GOES BY, HE GOES BACK AND THEY TELL HIM THEY WONT DO IT TODAY. He has to drive 3hrs a day to and from work. Hes up at 5am and doesnt have time to keep going back just for a maybe. Really bad service. They could have paged him saying they dont have time, instead of him wasting 2hrs waiting for nothing. Thanks for that

RedNeck D.: Arlene, don't hold your breath waiting for them to contact you. Instead, find yourself a reputable mechanic & let only that person work on your vehicle.

Rayma A.:i tried to contact customer service your site won't load for me....i contacted the local canadian tire..woodstock nb. they told me to bring the car in.....not sure if i can lift and carry the car that far..

CT said Arlene should call them for "immediate assistance" ...

Arlene N.L.: I needed immediate assistance before and Canadian Tire let me sit in a parking lot for four days. I am not calling now. I am waiting for you to resolve this. How much time does it take?

RedNeck D.: Probably about as long as it would take for them to have a media response. And it's highly unlikely that would ever happen.

RedNeck D. That might be a polite way of putting it.

John E.J.: I thought it was going to be a long day when the attendant told me it would take 1.5 hrs to change my oil and swap my wheels, little did I know if end up spending 3 hours waiting around a Canadian Tire.

There's been a blizzard of battery-related complaints, started (get it?) by Crappy's spamming about their crappy batteries.

Robert R.: Very disappointed Canadian Tire, We got our heater core replaced there and you think for over a 1000 bucks we spent they would at least clean the oily filmed antifreeze windows and put everything they pulled out of the glove box and put it away where they got it. Gonna think twice now before taking anymore business there! And when I asked about it the kid said it wasn't on the work order to do so!
