    So after my personal boycott of Canadian Tire for the last 4 or 5 years, I thought I would give this store a try...again. Epic fail. Long story short, I asked this prick for help and he walked around doing other stuff, returning to me every 2 or 3 minutes to say, "just hang on for another minute." The last time he said that I told him to go f**k himself and went to the customer disservice counter where I told them about the little prick in sporting goods and concluded by telling them to suck it.

    As far as I'm concerned, between WalMart, Tractor Supply, Cabelas and the local Home Hardware, Canadian Tire can suck my sweaty balls.

    Zach C.: I have nothing but a sour faste in my mouth from Canadian Tire I purchased a bicycle 2 weeks ago and now the crank and crank arms are toast, a defective bicycle, and I was told "the bike guy might be in on thursday" and that he may or may not have the parts. My bike is my only mode of transportation, effectively leaving me without a way to get to work in a timely manner. I was told in no uncertain terms that I was not getting a refund from them even if the associate I had dealt with told me I could, and that I was not getting an exchange. I found the manager to have a poor attitude. If I spend $160 on a bicycle, I expect it to last longer than two weeks. I will not be shopping at your store as long as I can avoid it and will recommend my friends and family avoid you as well. I also made a post about this earlier but you seem to have deleted it. It was the store in Georgetown, Ontario. Do not buy your bikes here or at any other Canadian Tire. Walmart Canada has a much better return policy and will make sure the customer is satisfied, however Canadian Tire doesn't. It seems you don't care and just delete posts of unsatisfied customers.     Hmm, I just noticed something, about the running total.

    Now, obviously, the exact number being recorded here is just a fraction of the total "boycott" Internet announcements.

    And, the Internet announcements are a tiny fraction of the publicly announced boycotts, and those are a tiny fraction of the unannounced fractions.

    So, we all know the actual number recorded here is only for illustration, and for sheer entertainment (although it does confirm that there's a real, big problem over at the Red Triangle of Crap stores.)

    But I just happened to notice, that #435 got accidentally recorded as #345 (transposition error).

    What that means is, the current count should be 100 higher. So, it ought to be #508, not just #408.

    Which is, well, even funnier, and shows that CT actually sucks more than you might have thought!

    Ron M.: It must be nice, in these economic times, to have so many customers that can afford to ignore them and dismiss them. My wife and I were shopping at Canadian Tire, in Medicine Hat today. After about 15 minutes of looking at Christmas lights, my wife went over to customer service and asked if we could get some help there. We heard the page on the PA system. We continued looking around for at least another 30 minutes and still no one shows up. So, because we could not get any help to get questions answered about your products, we proceeded to leave. On the way past the customer service desk, I mentioned to K., that we been waiting for someone to come help us for over half an hour. She remembered that we had asked for help with Christmas lights and was immediately was going to try and page someone again. I informed her that we did not have anymore time because we had other shopping to do. Her response was to look past me to the next person in line and holler "NEXT!" Not even a "Sorry you waited so long" or anything, just dismissive and then move right along to the next customer. I guess you have too many customers. It makes my decision to shop else where from now on very easy.

    Canadian Tire has finally pissed me off for the last time after not providing me any customer satisfaction.

    Canadian Tire :
    -does not stand behind their products;
    -does not offer an easy refund or exchange, and this is even if you have your receipt;
    -does nothing to try and please the customer.


    I've had problems in the past where: they forgot to tighten up all 4 wheels on my car; try to charge me for a $60.00 diagnostic test when all I saw them do was tap my starter with a screwdriver; put the wrong oil in my car and almost refuse to do another oil change; and always gives me a hassle if I try to return a product that was defective.

    I will drive out of my way to go to the following competitors so Canadian Tire never gets my money ever again !
    -Princess Auto
    -KENT
    -Home Depot
    -NAPA
    -Walmart
    -Home Hardware
    -Timbermart
    -RONA.....................And the list goes on !

    Rony Y.hostile and terible expericence i have ever been with canadian tire. This afternoon i went to canadian tire on quinpool road, halifax and I needed to return my pedestal fan that i bought from there while ago. The fan had issue with noise and I tried to return it. when the customer service rep open the box, she found little bit dirt on the blade. She told me that she will not take it. she was rude to me and i asked to give me a solid reson why I can not return it. However i was told by the same rep to leave the store and go home. then i asked to talk to the manager and what i heard that she is the one who is in charge. If thisis how you want to represent canadian tire please do let me know and i will never head back to canadian tire again.
