Auto Service and Customer-Service [particularly] at Auto-Service sucks.
I took my car CT Sarcee Trail NW Calgary for winter tires. One night I on my way home I found out that my front wheel has lost three out of five lug bolts. I believe CT should pay for the cost of repair (the were the last to touch my car) but apparently I paid. They even did not take responsibility for the lost lug-bolts.

OK, my above post is as an angry and frustrated customer and I should say it is fairly normal behavior. The people (like me) who come to auto-service or retail service for return, exchange or to complain don't act normal at that moment (because they are the one how have suffered). Canadian Tire (since we are taking about CT only) should understand this side of human behavior). It is NOT always just about a few dollar but a polite, sympathetic and sober conversation. AND your staff substantially lack professionalism....
BUT I still love you guys in retail though ;-)

Unfortunately no matter what service station you take your car to, they will not be responsible for lug nuts. The reason is because there is no way to prove WHO is responsible. Common sense would say if that service center was the last to work on the car would be responsible but one could argue the point and say that once it leaves the building someone could have tried to steal the rims, or wheels from the vehicle or vandalized the car. This has nothing to do with Canadian tire, it's service center wide (Canadian Tire, Sears, Minute lube, etc..)

The words of a scoundrel. Anything will do to try to get out of taking responsibility, won't it?
If one of your employees punched an old woman in the face, you'd come up with something like, "It was likely her fault for walking into the guy's fist."

I've heard nothing but bad stories regarding auto repair from Canadian Tire. Best to go elsewhere obviously. If anything goes wrong they will not take responsibility for it.
