Way to go CT Haters. You defend a known and proven thief....in an incident that happened years ago none the less. Just like you defend practices of switching receipts and products to get new warranty on old products.

Hope you sleep well at night knowing you're stealing and defending those who steal.

For God's sake, what the Hell are you talking about???

Nobody "defended" the person who was killed by the staff at the Crappy Tire store in Hamilton.

It was simply pointed out that the Crappy People are publicly celebrating the death, at their own hands, of a fellow human-being.

This is truly disgusting, and I'm surprised other Crappy Tire representatives are not outraged by this behaviour!

It certainly sends a loud and powerful message about how the Crappy People value any small amount of money, over a human life.

Nice job, Crappy People!

So typical of CT people to falsely accuse anyone who stands in their way.

Did any consumers post here "defending" switching receipts and product or personal gain? No, of course not. The CT defenders would like you to think so, though.

No, all that took place, was a hypothetical debate about whether or not this WOULD count as fraud, if a person had an identical, unopened item at home.

And guess what? It was promptly and decisively proven that it is NOT fraud.

(Did the Crappy Tire people back up their claim that customers had been "convicted" in this situation? Of course not!)

There was also a discussion about returning unopened items within 90 days, if the item went on sale, then 're-buying' it.

In this case, it was quicky revealed that the CT Defenders simply don't like to lose money this way, so they get all whiney when it happens. Who cares? Not savy consumers!

Yes, the deep-seated hostility towards their fellow human being extends well beyond alleged theives, and to honest customers who simply out-smart CT Defenders.

And regular readers of this forum will recognize how the hostility extends to any person who does not simply roll over to the desire of the CT Defenders, when it comes to letting Crappy Tire keep their money.

Nice representation of your beloved company, Crappy Tire Defenders!

Nice job!

We are not Ct haters. But You CT staffs are some disgusted human beings.
Stealing is not right, but you CT folks believed killing a thief is right ?
We wonder if anybody in their right mind would agree that a " death penalty " is right for a thief ?

You're right, he didn't need to die. And he didn't need to steal and he didn't need to run. He even didn't have to have a previous criminal history. Kind of like saying someone with gang affiliation didn't need to be gunned down in a drive-by. Sorry man, when people make bad choices, criminal choices, bad shit happens. Risks come with danger....just sayin.

Another reason not to shop at CT. So following CT's logic...they could suspect anybody, they will chase, your grandmother could run and have a heart attack or stand there and get knocked down by 6 goons and suffocate. They will make up reasons i.e. thief, they will smear your name when you're dead. You could die from the experience. They've gotten away with it and it could happen again....just sayin.

Well documented the guy had a criminal past, ran, etc. Defend thieves all you want, the majority doesn't side with you.

Harper gov't may change Criminal Code after Chen case - CTV News

Maybe it would be better if people just didn't steal.

OK, CT Geniuses, maybe you can answer a couple of questions:

- If Crappy Tire's debt went up by $1 billion, but only $400 million were needed to pay off Forzani's debt, where did the other $600 million go?

- If Crappy Tire's store revenue (including PartSource and auto service labour) is LOWER by .7%, how can they claim "Growth" of 1.9%?

Just curious, since you are all "geniuses" and everything ...

You should really do your own research, but in the meantime there are professionals that can help you.

Canadian Tire is A Buy; Update on STN, RCI, SCCO

Stock Quote - The Globe and Mail

I think that the people that pour over the books on a daily basis have better insight than the rantings of a faker, know nothing, on this site. They seem to think CTC is a buy, even with it's wonky share structure.

<Yawn>

Old new from June. Thanks for the "update", LOL.

The stock took a dip since then, when they borrowed a Billion to make the "all cash" deal, LOL.

BTW, any ideas where the other $600 million went, since you are a "professional' and everything.

Also, how come store revenue (including PartSource and auto service labour) is LOWER by .7%, but Crappy Tire claims "Growth" of 1.9%?

So now you're giving investing advice and flogging CT as a buy based on a random search of what some guy said? Ha ha hilarious. Lets have a real look shall we? Notice the bumpy roller coaster ride on the way down and hardly any volume. Which says the market doesn't believe in your growth or survival. You Fail.

why would anyone aside from dealers want to invest in such a shitty stock? Lots of better earners out there to choose from like lowes, homedepot, costco etc.

ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhahahhahahhaha did you really just post that?

Lets look at a 10 year history of these beloved companies of yours in comparison to CTC

Home Depot
August 2001 46.00
August 2011 34.35
- 12 bucks / share
stellar performance

Lowes
2001 18.60
2011 20.48
+ 1.88 per share
an increase....barely. Great ROI

Costco
2001 31.00
2011 77.00
+ 46.00 per share
Good buy, consistently strong performer
Leads the pack by a mile at more then double

Canadian Tire
2001 26.50
2011 52.40
+ 26.00 per share

******

You might note that both Costco and Canadian Tire suffered losses in the same period to share holder value
Dollar for dollar Costco has been a better buy. Percentage of gain over same period is very close between the two

Lowes & HOme Depot - Maybe another decade and you could realize a few dollars from your investment (literally)

******

Well done sir
Great analysis

just saying...

Hey you forgot Walmart & target

MallWart
$51.00 August 2001
$52.90 August 2011

Another smokin hot long term performer!

Target
$35.00 August 2001
$50.00 August 2011

Third best performer behind Costco and Canadian Tire

Whoops, you probably left out the analysts recommendations on purpose.....but 4 strongly recommend a buy, 2 recommend a buy, and 2 say hold.
Man is it ever easy to discredit faker advocates....must be because he's a FAKER! No credibility, proven wrong time and again. Tsk, Tsk faker advocate.

Typical Crappy Tire double-talk.

They claim their stock is doing well, but the only reason anyone suggest it's a "buy" is because it's doing so Crappy.

Typical of Crappy Tire people to ignore the obvious, and try to make their crappy stock sound better than it is.

No matter what happens, the Crappy People will try to spin it into something positive.

Consumers are smart enough to think for themselves, though.

More ramblings from a faker that is proven wrong, yet again. The analysts must be lying, the stores don't have customers, the competition will kill you, my opinion matters....what a joke!

Is that all you got? Really? 4 analysts out of how many whose opinions change like the weather and matter even less today. How pathetic.
