NEVER, NEVER, EVER purchase an air conditioner from Canadian Tire. I purchased one ($600.00) on May 4, 2012. I first turned the machine on towards the end of June when he got really hot and GUESS WHAT it quit working 10 days later. It made a awful loud noise and I pulled the plug and it has not worked since. I went to Fort Road Canadian Tire and was told SO WHAT - ITS NOT OUR CONCERN. They gave me a phone number and sent me on my why. As soon as you pay them - they don't care what happens next to you or the machine.
I AM THOROUGHLY DISGUSTED AT CANADIAN TIRE AND BELIEVE ME WHEN I TELL ANYONE WHO IS LISTENING DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM CANADIAN TIRE. Any store that does not back up what they sell should cease to function.
I WILL NEVER ENTER THAT OR ANY OTHER CANADIAN STORE FOR AS LONG AS I LIVE.
