Interesting how the SAngriaGuy decided to post this on some random thread, like "People Hate Crappy Tire".

Anyway, I noticed the revenue growth is a similarly paltry 2.4%.

I suppose the CTer's are all running around high-fiving one-another, on their 'awesome' growth.

What was inflation again? About 2.4%? Sounds like they are barely treading water.

Barely treading water hahaha Yah look out, we're almost sinking idiot

Hey I just noticed that Walmart in q3 2013 dropped 1.3% in same store sales. DROPPED
That's not very strong for the worlds largest retailer. HEy didn't we increase during that period?

Math, numbers, facts....they are getting in the way of your fantasty land again

What does this Financial stuff have to do with the hatred of Crappy Tire that is posted on their very own Facebook page, every day?

Well, if we only have to see the likes of Moaner1 once per quarter, it won't be so bad, LOL!

Well, the financial information certainly wrecks you and your pseudonyms theory that the majority agrees with you.
If you look at any corporation, they have somebody complaining about them. But it looks like the vast majority doesn't agree with your viewpoint of this corporation. I'm not surprised though. You always had a weak argument, and then you had to fake post people's comments.

Ok, this is more LIKE it!

Scott K.: Perhaps you should have spent some of the fortune you spent on self serving commercials to train your employees on customer service as none of the Canadian tire stores I've been in in the past 10 years have any concept, they chat together in aisles and ignore customer questions, if they answer they are terse at best, I will continue to shop elsewhere until that changes...

Are they really that Canadian?

Brian T.F.: Canadian tire is a misnomer they sell mostly MADE IN CHINA products and that puts Canadians out of work.

Everything is made in the Pacific Rim. Find me a retailer anywhere carrying a high percentage of Made in North America goods. They don't exist. Stuff simply is not made here anymore. Electronics, small appliances, auto parts, bicycles, household goods, heck the computer i'm typing on.... overseas.
So misinformed when people blame the retailer for where goods are made.

Not sure what this gibberish is about.

Some of it seems to be the long-disproven theory, that a single complaint about a competitor, magically negates the flood of complaints we see from our fellow Canadians, posted on Crappy Tire's Facebook page. See the "Grudges" thread.

There's also a hint of that theory, that if the Red Triangle of Crap stores turned a profit recently, then I don't know, nobody really hates them? If in doubt, see the "Financial" thread.

The's also some stuff in there about a 'majority' - reminiscent of SAngryA's incoherent rants about New Jersey pornographers and "600 sucks.com sites". Nothing to see there at all!

!

Turned a profit RECENTLY?
Find me a time when we didn't turn a profit. Can you do that? Find me an annual loss. Heck find me a quarterly loss

Poor Crappy People - wrong thread, yet again. But a nice job of twisting words, LOL!

Yes lets look at the twisted words. Turned a profit recently. Turned a profit recently.
Nope, looks identical to me

Of course, you couldn't just answer the question by identifying a year or even a quarter where CT did not turn a profit. That would be too easy, just to answer the question before you. Well normally it would be easy but you'd have to dig pretty deep to find a quarter in the red.

I LOVE the results if CT's Olympic hype!

Cherry T.: Start taking care of your customers and honor the policies of returning items,if your receipts says 90 return policy,90 days means 90 days not 7 days, this is misleading customers, misleading consumers is illegal. There should be media attentions on your false policies.

Well, consumers: you can see how it work.

- The CTer's post unsubstantiated, self-serving B.S.
- Consumers do a tiny bit of research, and quickly refute the CT'ers BS.
- Instead of acknowledging the obvious, the CTers simply ignore being caught yet again with their pants down.

Hey, if they want to continue to erode their credibility, that's OK with me, LMAO!

Good, Job, CTers!

Of course, the real issue, is that Canadians see the name "Canadian Tire", and assume that they might find some Canadian-made products there-in. But they just find the same old Chinese crap, of even lower qualify than the other big retailers.

So, naturally, the Canadian consumers are disappointed, and feel mislead. This happens so often, that it's ridiculous.

I guess Canadians will just become more and more used to being disappointed by this once-great retailer. Won't be long before that nostalgia and misplaced patriotism fade away entirely.

A Wikipedia description of manufacturing and a small town store are your facts?

Ps the data you gave at Wikipedia is manufacturing of all goods. That includes everything from mining trucks to Make up.
I'm talking general consumer goods...the stuff that' I'm in business to sell. There's no secret a high percentage of those goods are made overseas. Your beloved Walmart and Target .....same stuff. Same vendors. Same manufacturing.

So now your current rant is that consumers on a large scale come to Canadian Tire expecting Canadian made items and then leave unhappy? According to my information more Consumers came to Canadian Tire and bought something in 2013 then EVER before? Even with Target now in full swing. Not really fading away here bucko.

LOL. Don't let reality creep into your blog. Deny, deny, deny. Too bad the numbers don't add up for you. Where did that growth come from last year? Must just drive you nuts.

Poor Canadian Tire. Their name inspires patriotism, but then they fail to live up to that. A very common complaint, which they choose to do nothing about:

Myron K.: So why don't you sell Canadian. Most of your products are made in China and although cheap in price, you get what you pay for, poor quality. So many things I bought broke.

Everyone has their own reason ... to hate Crappy Tire:

Junior W.: Thx Shary Morrison 4 ur observation. Being an actor in this country 4 25yrs...Ive auditioned 4 this company 20 times. The minority actors in this country are well aware of the misrepresentation of the population in Canadian Tire Commercials. So once again I will shout from the rafters. WAKE UP CANADIAN TIRE!!!! WHITE PEOPLE ARENT THE ONLY DEMOGRAPHIC THAT SHOP AT UR STORES! If u keep it up they will stop. I wont let u off the hook because these are actually real people that helped Toews get 2 where he is. IM WATCHING U!!!
