Ernie Evil-Grafix Moore Customer service talks in circles. I let this go last year but ain'y gonna do it this time. I am sick and tired of the lack of respect from CT! DO NOT BUY ANY BIKE FROM CT!!! I spent almost $100 last year on three bike from CT. 2 were put together so bad that it messed up parts! The front forks on my APEX were bent and caliper shimmed with a cut in half washer!!! Below I will post all correspondence:

Ernie Evil-Grafix Moore Initial email: My name is Ernie Evil Grafix Moore on Facebook, but my real name is Laurence, (to verify I can send you a message from my FB account anytime you like). I was talking to whomever is your Admin on Facebook back in July. It came to light again because I just had to replace the crank set in November, the front brake pads are completely gone now, and the paint on the swing arm being chipped like that just plain pisses me off. Pardon my language. Even after this whole fiasco, I do still enjoy shopping at CT. Mainly your tools because of warranty. Regardless, I am pissed over the bikes. I spent $900 in 2 months on bikes and get 2, possibly 3, lemons? (I have the receipts to prove it! 2 were on my girlfriends CT account!!!) The man that works at assembling these bikes is doing a halfass job in Windsor, Ontario at the Lauzon and Tecumseh store! To cut a washer in half and use as a shim instead of getting straight forks? The forks are very bent, not just a little bent!! So bad that it burnt the front disk pad on an angle. The tires were more than half flat at the store so I couldn't even test ride it! Not to mention the chips in the black paint on the rear swingarm! There is probably 30+ of them! The other question is why does the Supercycle Ascent mountain bike have the same shocks, front/rear at $159, as my $599, I got for $299 on sale (is that why? On sale things are less in quality?), CCM Apex? And after tightening my crank twice it is now grinding like there is no grease!! I freakin ride the bike 2 times a day, for 8-10 minutes either way to work!! It's been a horrible experience! I hope this isn't just a waste of time. Prove me wrong!

P.S. I wrote the most part in July but never sent it. I just came across it and it refueled my anger besides the fact of having to replace more things now. I sold my Schwinn at a loss and have spent money on my Apex to make it safe. My girlfriend rode her bike a few times and it seems good but not untill I spent hours going over every part.

Ernie Evil-Grafix Moore And this is my response: Good afternoon. I will answer questions in order below. I contacted the store last year and told my story and the guy said was to bring it in. I was already done replacing the front shocks and I did not want whoever put it together to work on it again. I have spent what I saved buying this bike. Other than a few basics it is a completly different looking bike. But if I wanted to spend $600+ on a bike I would have from the get go. Not piece by piece. If your going to call and say "What can we do for you?", I will just hang up. At this point I am very disappointed. You need to wow me to make me change my tune. If not save your breath. I am in the process of completly going over the 3rd bike I bought from you guys last year, to make sure my girlfriend is safe, and so far the only gripe I have is the minimul use of grease. The guy at the store needs to retire. I see him sitting in the store sometimes putting bbq's and bikes together. Blank stare to customers. Cutting a washer in half to shim something is a joke. I have worked on bikes my whole life since I was small kid and could never see where you would put twisted forks on a bike and shim the caliper with half a washer. The replacement forks don't cost him any money. If I was a novice this could have hurt me. Give me an address and I will send you the forks and the cut washer or I can email you a clear picture of both. With flat tires and no test drive I was forced to keep it because of your no return policy for assembled bikes. I am done rambling. Wow me.

Ernie Evil-Grafix Moore Bunch of BS. What will the General Manager do for me? Nothing. No matter what any of you commenting think, you buy something that is already together, you expect it to work. It's complete BS that we should have to learn how to put a bike together just to buy one that is put together! Good thing I am very knowledgeable or I could have been seriously hurt!

Ernie Evil-Grafix Moore Here's my final email correspondence with CT:
Really that's suppose to make me happy? Reciting the warranty off the reciept back to me? Don't you think I read that? Would you let someone who botched a job on your car, repair it again? What so he can cut another washer in half? Your silly to think that. I will now be a thorn in CT's side. Thanks for nothing. I will be contacting a lawyer to help me figure what to do next.
