I went to Canadian tire to buy an eliptical a couple of months ago. I filled out the application for a Canadian tire card to put the purchase of the eliptical on. The credit company was closed already, so customer service told me they would contact me the next day, but they didn't, so I went into the store (on 90th ave and Mcleod Calgary). They basically lost my credit application with my personal and financial information on it. They would not admit that they lost it though. I spoke to the two managers; the last manager was the customer service manager and he took my phone number and promised to look into the situation and call me--but he never did. Needless to say, I didn't purchase the exercise equipment and have a very bad impression of Canadian Tire now.
