Is it me or is Canadian Tire just living in the dark ages when it comes to gift card replacement? I lost my gift card I got for Christmas, so I went in with the receipt with which it was bought with and was told they could only cancel it, and not reissue a new one?
HUH?!?! You can cancel it and see that no money was spent on it, but you won't reissue a new one? How does that make sense? Home Depot will replace it with no hassle if you have the receipt. Needless to say I won't be taking my business to Canadian Tire any longer. Morons.
