I think it is strange that when I asked to price match they wanted my name and phone number for a binder. They would not price match my item (found it at Oakville Rona for 20 less). They said I needed a local flyer (paper) with the item in it. I asked corporate about this and was told that store has discretion to match and yes paper flyer local is there system. It speaks volumes that they have a binder to write it in - not doing it very much and not welcoming price match shoppers. I never felt a happy vibe at the Waterloo store - so I will search out places that feel better and that are easier to spend my money at or just order online I guess. It feels creepy about the name and phone number thing. Creepy store. Staff seem locked down and not relaxed.
