Douchebag at CT in the GTA

The kid working behind the counter at the parts desk was a little bastard. I asked him to verify a part number of a bulb I needed and to his credit he did. I then asked him if he sold the bulb housing which I told him I broke taking off. He abruptly responded "get that at the dealer" then he said as I was walking away "it's expensive too man" to which I responded "it's OK I'll tape it"

You should have reached across the counter and grabbed him by his arrogant throat and said, "Come again?"
His parents (like most parents of today's youth) didn't bring the little prick up with any respect for anyone but his own miserable self.

? i wasnt there and dont know what this kids tone of voice was but.... How was he out of line telling you that it was a dealer item.. or by warning you that it would be expensive. And to the guy who responed... How would violence be a resonable response to that? Your comenting on this kids up bringing and you have never even met the kid... Maybe next time you should get a qualified proffesional to change your lights for you as it it obvious that you are incapable of doing it yourself

I don't imagine he'd be here complaining it the parts person had said: "I'm sorry sir, we don't carry those, they are a dealer item". On the commenting about the price, I suspect if he had a clue about what this actually cost (rather than just assuming because it's a dealer item, it's going to be costly--this is definitely not always the case), he wouldn't be a counter jockey at Canadian Tire. That said, I don't think he should choke the kid, even if he deserved it--he has a boss, and this should be brought to his attention.
