Dont shop at Canadian tire unless you like paying more and getting less! I purchased the same machine from canadian tire i could have bought elswhere becuase it was on sale and i thought if i could save a few bucks then why not. Well now i need service a week later and i was told to call the number on the box. No problem except now i have to pay a dispatch fee of 200 plus the cost of the parts needed to fix it.

What's the item and what's a dispatch fee? Was there a warranty?

Don't fall into the warranty trap.

The retailer has to provide a refund, or an exchange if you prefer.

On Tuesday, call the Ministry at 1-877-665-0662.

In the meantime, check out this blog:

How to get a refund from Canadian Tire - moneyville.ca Blogs

Lots of other good resources out there.

Just don't be fooled by the Crappy People who say you have to settle for whatever they want to offer you.

The retailer has every right to verify if it's defective. Care to dispute it?

sure, sounds reasonable.

but the retailers has to follow the laws regarding refunds for defective products

regardless of the warranty the manufacturer provided

"- no matter what their return policies may say"

Any proof it's defective? Nope. Better have the in home expert verify it. Kinda like this site, people lie and make up stories all the time on here. That's why they're fakers.

Any proof it's defective? Nope.

The best evidence at this point is the report of the consumer who said repeatedly that it's defective.

Besides, it lines up with many other similar reports.

We all need to be thankful that our fellow consumers are willing to take the time to warn us about the bad products carried by Crappy Tire, and the bad experience they have at stores, such as this one.

Thanks you, Anonymous Consumer!

Let us know how if you are able to make the 3100 Wonderland Rd S, London, ON store stand behind what they sold you!

Interesting idea.

That consumers are expected to post 'proof' to an online discussion forum.

And if they don't, store owners are somehow justified in saying the consumers 'lie' and are 'fakers'.

Don't forget: CanadianTireSucks is a site for consumers to share information and ideas.

Luckily there are people here who are willing to step up & help one another out.

And shame on the crappy people for trying to obstruct any of that.

none of this is surprising

we all know the ct owners are there to make money and nothing else

they could be honest about their policies

they follow the law and give refunds for defective products

but if they can make more money by hiding their return policies and then denying reasonable returns - well - nobody should be surprised

just keep in mind the kind of people you are buying from

sorry - the COULD follow the law and give refunds for defective products - but they DON'T

So typical.

In response to a customer complaint, the CTers immediately criticize, accuse and make up excuses.

Any chance they'll try to help the customer? Nope, they just circle the wagons.

Get real. CanadianTireSucks is an anonymous e-commerce site. No way to know if stories are one-sided, true or even real. Lots of fake posts on here by one faker advocate using multiple personalities.

It's obvious what's really going on, otherwise you would have contacted media, lawyers, BBB, Ministries....the options are endless, and other than lawyers, cost you nothing and have credibility.
Nice try though.

In Internet slang, a troll is someone who posts inflammatory,[2] extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum, chat room, or blog, with the primary intent of provoking readers into an emotional response[3] or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion.[4]

Interesting idea.

That the information here COULD be incorrect, so it MUST be incorrect, and consumers should ignore it.

I'm sure the Crappy Tire people might enhance their all-important profits of consumers fell for this B.S.

But consumers are smart enough to recognize potentially useful information, and do their own investigations.

But, good luck with your dis-information plans, Crappy People! Ha-ha!

Thanks go out to the original poster, who took the time to warn fellow consumers about the poor service they received from the 3100 Wonderland Rd S, London, ON store.

And thanks are also owed to the consumers who have taken the time to provide some resources for those who have been defective products by Crappy Tire.

It's good to know we can rely on our fellow consumers!

It's crazy there's any amount of arguing over such a vague post

customer bought a machine. it's broken. Come on? A blender? a welder? What's wrong with it
