I worked at this store briefly, with experience at other CT stores, and it was the most miserable work experience of my life. The management is rude, disrespectful and frankly treats its staff like drooling children. From my first day, up until my last, I heard nothing but complaints and awful stories from fellow employees and the general population of Merritt.
I feel if the management would take the time to interact with their staff, possibly hold staff meetings, and listen to suggestions that this store could improve greatly, resulting in productive AND happy employees.
 
I worked at this store and have to say, most of the staff are just great. Management leaves a lot to be desired. There is little to no respect for the staff by management. Customers are seeing the strain put on staff members who are running around trying to do the job of 3 people. Dictatorship comes to mind in the treatment of staff. It's no wonder there is the turnaround. No raises, but constant requests for staff to do more.
 
Nothing but unhappy employees at this store, was pretty nice place to shop when it first opened. In the last year it has gone downhill fast, new owner sucks..like a Hoover. No stock that is saleable in this area, has either fired or layed off all the good emplyees, and hired a handfull of no minds to replace them. Would not shop here if it was the last store in this town.Now that the best auto tech that was ever there is gone, it won't be long before there are no local customers at all.
