Anthony M.T.: I had to call comster services a couple of times on them went in for a tire change and they like ohhh you need new nuts and I am like no they are new they put it on the record and I did not pay I left and said that they were just bought three months earler, and it was here in Dartmouth he went and added it as note that they needed replacement and I went to a veicheal enforcment officer and he like WTF do they mean you need new ones

Jayson T.: I had four wheels changed. from summer tires on mags to winter tires on rims. basically only needed ct for balancing. anyway, mechanics scratched my mags, stripped six of my wheel screws and forgot to tighten two wheels. beauport, qc. I wasn't impressed

Mike R.: So I've spent a good part of the day calling around to the different Canadian Tires that are close to me...closest one being over an hour away, trying to get 4 tires on the sale that is currently running. Half don't have the tires we want in stock and will not honor the sale price if they have to get them in, a few have the tires but only 2 or 3 not 4! The one that has them in won't guarantee that they will still have them when we get there and this store is 2 hours away. I guaranteed them i was going to leave right now but then I was told that they couldn't install them until tomorrow at 5pm with no guarantee that they will be in stock when we get there for 5pm. What the hell is with your customer service Canadian Tire?? Obviously you don't want my business anymore....and by the way I have been making calls about these tires for over a week and getting responses that are completely unsatisfactory. I can deal with a bit of a run around but this is horrendous!

Mike R.: Ok I was waiting for this bullshit cookie cutter response....I have spelled it out for you right here....you have already lost my business for probably quite some time over this. Again I just received another unsatisfactory response from yet another store. I have 2 vehicles that you have lost all future service on and judging by the posts on this page it looks like you guys believe in dropping the customer service ball quite often. I have been in customer service for many years and I am appalled with the consistent bad service this company is giving.

Mike R.: Brandon MB, Yorkton SK and 3 of the Regina Sk stores all bad service....have booked my vehicle into OK Tire and they were more than happy to have my business and I only have to drive 30 mins for the same price that I would have paid at Canadian Tire and better quality tires. I guess there is something to be said about smaller companies who value customer service.

Julie W.: Yeah right. This from the same company who refused to get one of their mechanics to stay late and switch out my tires when I was stuck in London during a snowstorm an hour away from home. Even though I would have spent a fortune on tires and rims in their store.

Mike M.: A less than positive experience with the Canadian Tire store in Riverview NB. The service department arranged for the sale of and installed car tires that did not have sufficient weight rating on a travel trailer. The Riverview store did not have tires in stock to fit the trailer, they arranged for me to pick them up at another Canadian Tire location. As a customer service gesture the fee to install the two tires was waived as the service rendered took three hours more than promised . This year a motor vehicle inspection was performed on the trailer, the inspection failed because of the Canadian Tire Motomaster tires installed at the Riverview store were unsafe because of their weight rating. The store has no record of the installation because there was no fee charged and claim they would not suggest the tires be installed on my trailer. Service Manager accused me of fabricating the series of events that led to the installation of the unsafe product. Writing this out of frustration and disbelief. Your customer service representative suggested I find another use for the tires as there was no paper trail showing your store installed the product. Incompetence putting my family's safety in question and the safety of those traveling on the same road teamed with contempt what a combination, shame on you.

James M.: My mom bought six new tires from the Victoria Canadian tire then was told they can't put them on moterhomes there so she paid for a ferry ride to chilliwack as she was told that was the closest one able to install the tires then when she arrived at her schedualed app in chilliwack she was told after they took the tires off that they were sorry but they sold her tires to someone else.....she had to wait an extra day to have new ones brought out to chilliwack...my mom is 77 years old and had to sleep overnight in chilliwack untill they finally got the new tires on the next day.....
SHAME SHAME ON YOU CANADIAN TIRE ! I would not even recommend Canadian tire to my arch enemy....get off my facebook page and don't come back !

Kim H-B.: James, I am so sorry to heart about your Mom, no one should have to go through that and especially at 77 YEARS OLD. I hope Canadian Tire makes right what was done to your mom, re imburses her for the ferry, her time, and comps the tires - that is the least that they can do after what they did to her. In this day and age Customer Service is key in any business - face it, competition is fierce, maybe this will be an eye opener for Canadian Tire - CUSTOMER SERVICE, CUSTOMER SERVICE CUSTOMER SERVICE. After all, the next store down the street may be $1.00 more but people will pay that to be treated with respect.

Joshua B.D.: I am a sub contractor for a tire company and every season change from winter to summer or summer to winter we get at least 20 customers who want us to rebalance there tires because Canadian tire screws them up. They also never clean the rims when installing new tires and everyone has leaking rims. So the moral of the story is never get anything done to your car by Canadian tire.

Nadine V.M.: About 6 years ago I bought a tire for 140 00. They said at country hills auto I had to wait to put tire on. So I took tire made an appointment gave old dude receipt and tire insulation was to be included. He was rude wouldn't believe I bought tire there and handed me a bill for 30 dollars for insulation. Ya and I'm suppose to pay that?. I don't think so. Yardage Lol there have always been rude blunt and always say oh just leave your call alllllll day or go away.

Cristian A.R.O.: I was recently in your store Edmonton Millwoods Town Centre for a tire repair. I'm disappointed that the tech working on our vehicle didn't go over and above and put my spare tire, jack and wrench in it's appropriate place, I've gone to Kal Tire in the past for repairs and am used to that sort of service. It's those little things that keep customers coming back.

Evelyn W.: I need to win $5,000.00 to cover all the headaches Canadian Tire has caused me, broken Electric Fireplace, Blow out on a 2 month old tire, then both fronts needed replacing with in 15000KM, because of bumps in them causing steering problems, service dept. could not fix my van air conditioner, very rude and poor service. Said it was fixed and 1 month later I was back in as it was not working, they said they sent it out to be fixed and it cost them over $1000.00, still not working, spent at least 7 hrs sitting around waiting. That was last summer, haven't shopped there since, but went in on May 23rd to get the invoice they didn't give me so I could show it to my mechanic, nothing showed that it had ever been sent out for servicing. DONE WITH CANADIAN TIRE

Evelyn W.: Forgot to mention that Kal Tire was there to rescue me on Hwy 5 after the blow out, very good service from them, but it did cost me $206.10, as they brought a new tire because I couldn't drive the 150K home on my spare tire. I did get a replacement from Canadian Tire but they also tried to charge me for installation again. Will never buy from them again.

Evelyn W.: NOT TIRES from Canadian Tire, you'll have a blowout 2 months later while driving at 111kmh down the freeway, then they will replace the one that blew out, but won't compensate you for the over $200.00 bill it cost to get a new tire and have emergency service and then have the audacity to try to bill you for the installation, then that tire along with the other front tire had to be replace 1 year later because of splitting. NO MORE CANADIAN TIRE, AND FORGET THEIR AIRCONDITION SERVICE IT WILL COST YOU DAYS OF YOUR TIME AND IT WILL NEVER BE FIXED.

The worst customer service

Had a serious problem with my car: My rim was bent and could cause the tire to burst at any moment. So I brought my car in to Canadian Tire since they were close by and the only ones open at the time (it was on a Saturday afternoon) only to be ignored by none other than the service manager himself! He just looked down and shuffled through papers infront of me as I was expressing my serious situation to him. But no. Not even hint sympathy. Just a monotone 'well Im sorry to hear about your problem but there is nothing that I can do right now'. Even helping me find a store that can service me seemed like too much of a bother to him; I had to ask him if he knows if theres another store where I can get help. I gave up on that store and I went to another store and ONCE AGAIN had to push them to help me. They wouldn't replace the wheel because they SAID that didnt have enough time (which takes 5 minutes once they put it on the hoist) but they were happy sell me a new tire and rim and guess what, they even have time to mount balance the rim and the tire! (This took 15 minutes!). But no, the extra 5 minutes to put the tire on my car they didnt have! UNBELIEVABLE!
