Hmmm.

So, if we were to check the prices on Find Automotive Tools to Sports Gear to Kitchen & Bath Products | Canadian Tire, we wouldn't see the same prices all across Canada, now wouldn't we.

Yup, there should be one price for Toronto, another from Vancouver, and so on.

Hmmm .... I wonder how you go about telling www.crappytire.ca which city you want to check the prices for???

Canadian Tire flyer Oct 14 to 20 - SmartCanucks.ca Flyers, Deals Canada

Smokin deals, including some of Canada's best prices. Sweet!

But I wonder if consumers are justified in the belief that the regular non-sale prices are higher at Crappy Tire?

If only the Crappy Home Office has a Team that studies this day in day out - I bet THEY could answer this one way or another ...

Why don't you ask them? LOL! Or you could donate above and help out this fine e-commerce site.
I see page 9 of this weeks flyer lists some of Canada's lowest prices. And then some more a few pages later, and they are regularly priced. Then there's the rest of the flyer with smokin' deals. What an awesome looking flyer and great store to shop at! Must be why they have so many customers, each and every week.

It's important to stay focused.

The real question is: are the Crappy People hiring high school staff, and then not training them, in order to keep regular prices low?

Or, are the Crappy People hiring high school staff, and then not training them, just to make higher profits? I.e., are they simply greedy?

It's largely academic, but still an interesting question.

Actually that really is a smokin good flyer. I think I'll head over for the deals asap. Smokin good deals!

… prices change by region. If you were to check pricing in Toronto, they might differ from the prices in a store in a small town an hour from Toronto. Study edmonton, then go an hour away to a smaller town, the prices will differ. there is no blanket answer that you're looking for sorry buddy.

Fascinating theory. That Crappy Tire will sell identical non-sale items in different cities, for different prices.

But is it true? Do identical items have different prices in a Toronto Crappy Tire than they do in Vancouver?

Let’s have a look:

Find Automotive Tools to Sports Gear to Kitchen & Bath Products | Canadian Tire

OK, now let’s check out the prices for Toronto …

Hey, wait! There AREN’T any “Toronto” prices! Or any “Vancouver” prices!

They are the same prices shown for EVERY CITY IN CANADA!

But let’s enter some postal codes into the web site – maybe THAT will change things!

0603874 in M4C 1L4: $99.99
How about in v5n 2T7: $99.99

Yes, this CT genius doesn’t even know how his own store’s pricing works, LMFAO!

Caught lying to consumers yet again.

And so easily disproven, too!

Tsk, tsk, Crappy Owners.

You should be ashamed!

LMAO
So your analysis is one item at $99.99 compared Toronto to Vancouver?
One item hahahaha Again you've proven you have ZERO understanding of retail and business.

Yes my claim remains the same. You could and will go into CT's in a major City, and then head down the road to a small town, same stores, same items and the prices will differ. Yes you could study prices 3 months ago vs prices today and there will be prices that are not the same as they were. some up, some down, and many will remain the same.

Of course you know far more about retail and my business then I do, so why don't you tell me oh wise one. I mean surely you've ran a multi million dollar franchise. Surely you've acheived a million dollars net worth before you were 40.

Back to the topic - high school students.
So according to the recent post, employing high school students is exploitation hahaha
Let's just make sure we understand this claim 100% - employing a 16 or 17 year old to say run a cash register nights and weekends, or stock shelves nights and weekends is exploitation? Pay them student wage, give them say 10-20 hours a week so that they have a bit of spending money through their school days, teach them how to deal with people and a bit of daily responsibility = exploitation.
Another great analysis by CT Hater Angry Guy. (Don't feed the other troll)

So based on this I would assume that if one were to stroll into say Subway on a Tuesday evening, we would find ZERO teens making food behind the counter? Walmart would not have any teens on the floor or running a cash till?
Local gas station, fully staffed by adults? no teens to be found? Grocery stores, all adults, no teens?
So that must mean that student unemployment rate in your City or Town is 100% because obviously offering them a job and a paycheque is exploitation.

What planet do you live on?

So, you can proof that, huh?

Any examples of a specific product?

Even one?

Any explanation on why there's only ONE web site with only ONE price for a given item?

Be sure and provide that proof, along with the report showing that Crappy Tire doesn't have higher prices than their competitors. Even ONE city on ONE day will do.

Gee, the evidence just keeps piling up:

- Crappy People refuse to show the price comparison their "team" prepares daily.
- Crappy People can't show different product prices for different areas.
- Crappy People can't show prices "fluctuating" over time.

Nice job, Crappy People!

Nice job exploiting students, too.

Good job training them, LOL!

Assholes rules the roost at Canadian Tire, as evidenced by the first and second posts on this thread.
To poster #1, I'd drop the pseudo-word "fucktard" from your vocabulary. It makes you sound like a moron and, if you ever used itr on me in person, you'd be lighter a few teeth after our encounter.

I would drop "itr". It isn't even a word.

Actually. Never been a CT employee, so, I can't speak for CT but I know for a fact other large 'hardware' retailers definitely do. Happens more than you think. They'll never do it on large items. They will definitely vary on smaller ones.

Just sayin'

instead you should scour old business results looking for things to criticize. Like say, something that happened 30 years ago for example.

you know, every time i start to forget about that disasterous venture into the u.s. market, some ct'er posts a news story about a u.s. retailer who isn't doing so well.

the irony of it all just brings back those happy memories of ct dealers losing their shirts, and the corporation losing tens of millions.

and i just have to share the joy!

well, you seem less than joyful about it, lol!
