Csr and Fred the manager were not helpful. Would not honor a flyer price when the flyer was 5 days expired. 3 other stores I called said it's policy honor for 1 week after. One said was ok for two weeks after. I bought from the other Cdn Tire store.

YOur arguments are so pathetic all you can do is now go into threads and copy links to other threads in this same website LOL you are a pathetic waste.

HEre's why this is happening. The arguments of all ct haters on this site have boiled down to a whole lot of nothing.
1) illegal (according to you) repair policy - which notably most people seemed to have dropped as a point of discussion assumably because it's not actually illegal

2) ct owners are liars and newly ct reps on here aren't even ct owners lol -

3) every other retailer has better policies then canadian tire

4) The CPA and SOGA will protect you from anything you don't like about canadian tire's policies

Yes, things that are against the law are illegal. This is hardly a cause for endless controversy, unless you are a self-appointed CT Rep.

No consumers posting here have written anything like that, so that is yet another CT Lie.

However, these laws do provide consumers with a great deal of protection, and it appears that the self-appointed CT Rep does not want consumers to know about or to apply these laws.

It is ironic that the self-declared CT Rep is complaining about the posts of consumers on a pro-consumer web site.

Consumers on this site should feel free to post in whatever manner and frequency they wish, provided that the material is appropriate and truthful.

For the record the existence of this site does not bother me one little bit.
- This site has zero impact on my business.
- The legitimate concerns presented on this site are ones we are surely aware of and some of us owning stores have found ways to make it right for a customer when the system is not necessarily in everyone's best interest.
- The MAJORITY of what is posted here is not accurate or factual, so I don't give a flying you know what about the things you see as problems that really aren't
- Anyone reading this site regularly already hates CT so the chances of influencing them are zero
- From what i've read on here, most of you are habitual complainers, whiners and have zero comprehension of what is right or wrong anymore. You just see anything CT related and automatically see red, assume it's wrong, assume ct does EVERYTHING wrong, that every other retailer is better then canadian tire in every way, pricing, policy, product quality, customer service etc.... - No intelligent, rational thinking human being operates this way!!
I have no use for you as a human or as a customer. You're completely irrational.

I'd have to agree that the majority of what's posted here by the Self-Appointed CT Rep. is not accurate or factual. We've seen that proven over and over.

- CT's policies are the "same damn thing" as all the other retailers - Wrong!
- CT doesn't sell anything with a "No Warranty" Warranty - Wrong!

But pretty much everything the consumers have posted has stood the test of time - nobody has been able to poke holes in it (just tell a lot of lies, LOL).

test of time?....LOL. Where is that ONE example that CT or ANY other retailer has policies not in line with CPA or SOGA rules? I mean it's only been 6 years since the last CPA revision.....surely there would be one example of a lawyer, law professor, consumer advocate, consumer ministry, consumer protection group, goverment agency that would have identified by name those that are in contravention of the rule. No?.....that doesn't make sense to the faker advocates? I wonder why?
