Rob T.: My ex brought our Dodge ram in because of à leak inthe front end. I wasnt there. Canadian tirés machanic said that the rack n pinion needed to be replaced. That it would cost about $1200. She was so upset when she got home. The fucken truck dont have rack n pinion. Top bitch licenced machanics my ass.

Ouch!

Jeffrey B.: boycott ctc service sucks and they don't stand behind warranty. now i have a lawyer and going to court after my tire fell off driving down free way all i ask was they cover the 400 dollar bill and they couldn't do that. see ya in court

Jon S.: I took a car to Canadian Tire for a safety certificate and one of the things they said it needed was new brake pads. I had just personally installed new pads before driving it there. Crooked.

Sounds like Canadians might actually be getting the word out on Crappy Auto Service!

Bev R.: Well said Canadians, your comments should wake up Canadian Tire... too bad I didn't have the warning when they said something was wrong with my car, but when my big brother went over to the garage to demand to see it, they backed down, but still charged me labour...

Oh-oh!

Crappy Tire has again spammed innocent Canadians, about their "free" tow service this long weekend.

Brace yourselves for the usual out-cry about unnecessary repairs, over-charging, and incompetent, incorrect or incomplete repairs!

Here's the latest on the 'free' tow:

John C.: Never ! Ever never!! Get my or my girls car serviced or fixed there. I don't need a computer code to tell me what's wrong with the vehicle, dirt bike, lawnmower or quad. Thanks for your malicious offer to tow our vehicles, but no freaking way!!! I don't need new tires, or alignment either!!! I personally wonder if they ever look at a vehicle and find nothing wrong...

Dawn P.: we got alternator put in there we left and few seconds later as we were about to go on the highway our hood flipped right up into windshield. The guy forgot to close the hood all the way after they fixed it. We drove right back there thank goodness it didnt happen on highway all we got was excuses for their carelessness. Will never take my car back there

Dono B.: I went to the Wiiliams Lake store several years ago for a "$29.99" oil change. I went to pick up my car and my total was $75.00! I asked where the extra cost was incurred. They said I needed a new air filter plus installation. I voiced my concerns to which the shop manager replied, "if you want, I can dig your old one out of the garbage and put it back in" I said yes, do that. He then said their garbage had been picked up and there was nothing they could do. I paid $30 - said I would return with the remainder and never went back. They had no problem calling me THAT time to ask when I would be returning. I vowed never to return to CT ever for auto service. I had no problem shopping there, however, until they sold me a dirty RAZOR!

Gregory J.: Wife's cars fuel pump went on a trip to the west coast ,asked canadian tire to change the fuel pump ,next day they told us the engine was blown so i had to drive our second vehicle to the canadian tire in langley, BC to deal with it and send my wife back in my truck, they said when they started it it filled up the bay with white smoke
first off it won't start with out the fuel pump working and second if you pour gas into the intake it will start burning white do to excess fuel In the intake
picked up a fuel pump at lordco and put a new fuel pump in it right in the canadian tire parking lot myself and drove it home ,it's been running perfectly ever since
canadian tire cost me 2 days wages and over 900 Km in fuel costs

Gregory J.: wasted our free bcaa tow to get it there

Tasha H.: I would not call Canadian Tire to fix my car at all. After terrible service and not be contacted back from Customer Service I would rather have my car sit on side of the road.

Dono B.: People don't love to hate. People love great service but hate corporations that continually disappoint the very consumer that keeps them in business.

I wonder what The Moaner thinks of all these automotive repair complaints?

Oh, wait: there's no WAY there are any complaints out there that AREN'T captured on this thread, so all must be well, right??? LMAO!

Paul M.: Ill never step foot in CT again after getting my truck serviced in Fernie. Had more problems when it came out they claimed zero responsibility and had to spend the same $$ twice to get it fixed by a real mechanic. The owner was there when I came to talk and wouldn't say a word to me or acknowledge my problem. Place is a poorly run disgrace of a business

Chris H.: I would not let any Canadian Tire touch either of my vehicles not even to screw on a valve cap!!! Wait they probably dont know what that is or where it is located on a vehicle!! FYI if anyone lets them change a tire on your vehicle make sure you double check your lug nuts before taking off or your entire wheel may release itself and pass you on the 401!! Worst store ever in Canada by far in my opinion and from some of the comments here i am not the only person with this view point. Instead of giving CT money to customers maybe they should invest in why so many people have this negative outlook towards CT and maybe find a way to actually fix it instead of posting scripted comments on here about please contact customer service and provide your contact info and we will look into it and be in touch! Yeah right maybe when hell freezes over they will be in touch and lucky if and when they do you get someone who speaks english or french who isnt in some call centre over in phillipines or india somewhere..

Dianna H.: Had my car serviced and they were rude and ignorant. First let me walk out without my keys and when i went back the "customer service" rep asked my why i wasn't smart enough to ask for them..umm cause u have them behind the counter its ur job to hand them to me...found a dirty oily rag on my seat and as i drove out my hood flew up blocking my view forcing me to slam on my brakes in an intersection. I went back angry and was once again questioned y i wasn't smart enough to check everything before driving away? Oh and an oil change took 2.5 hrs?? Needless to say i didn't and will not EVER go back and we dont even shop there anymore!! Take Canadian out of ur name its shameful to the rest of us

Andy S.: i would never take anything to them and this is only one reason : we had to get my wifes car inspected because of being out of province they said complete brake work needed to be done front and back rotors drums calipers pads etc at a cost of over 1200 to pass i took it to a mechanic friend he said drums and rotors looked brand new and pads had 90% still left and he said the tires hadnt even been taken off the car as there was still mud on the lug nuts from our trip to edmonton ... took it back to CT not saying a word nor having any work done and recieved a pass pretty pathetic CT

John D.C.: Last time I was there they changed my spark plugs didn't check the gap on my plugs (they don't do check the gaps because of warranty reasons) it did damage to the motor and they where not responsible picture that!!!!!

Tyler H.: ya until they get you in the shop than do a ton of work and dont even do it write,AVOID CANADIAN TIRE GARAGES AT ALL COST

Not really a personal horror-story, but a big "LOL Factor":

Ken R.: The Fucktards have a hard enough time torquing on a set of tires let alone work on a vehicle!
