Canadian Tire has finally pissed me off for the last time after not providing me any customer satisfaction.

Canadian Tire :
-does not stand behind their products;
-does not offer an easy refund or exchange, and this is even if you have your receipt;
-does nothing to try and please the customer.


I've had problems in the past where: they forgot to tighten up all 4 wheels on my car; try to charge me for a $60.00 diagnostic test when all I saw them do was tap my starter with a screwdriver; put the wrong oil in my car and almost refuse to do another oil change; and always gives me a hassle if I try to return a product that was defective.

I will drive out of my way to go to the following competitors so Canadian Tire never gets my money ever again !
-Princess Auto
-KENT
-Home Depot
-NAPA
-Walmart
-Home Hardware
-Timbermart
-RONA.....................And the list goes on !

Rony Y.hostile and terible expericence i have ever been with canadian tire. This afternoon i went to canadian tire on quinpool road, halifax and I needed to return my pedestal fan that i bought from there while ago. The fan had issue with noise and I tried to return it. when the customer service rep open the box, she found little bit dirt on the blade. She told me that she will not take it. she was rude to me and i asked to give me a solid reson why I can not return it. However i was told by the same rep to leave the store and go home. then i asked to talk to the manager and what i heard that she is the one who is in charge. If thisis how you want to represent canadian tire please do let me know and i will never head back to canadian tire again.

Patrick R Not a chance. I'm fed up with "canadian" tire. This is not the first time I've had poor service and issues with your company. You will not see another dime out of me.

Lord F.: i just bought a new snow blower from you auger didn't work $2400 and after being treated so badly you just replaced it with a new one with the same problem,i call back to tell them this the second one now ,they treated my family so badly no one in my family will ever go there again, sad cus its Canadian and there making it fell like american tire,look at your main web page people aren't happy turn around or fad away like the rest.


Lord F.: dont buy a snow blower for Canadian tire auger break not taken off twice could have %#%#^% up the machine they blame troy-built ,so dont buy if you already did check it put gas in a run it if auger dont turn and sequels bring it back .......
 
Lord F.: the auger wont turn put gas in read manual, apparently there is a lock that keeps it from turning your guys put it together both times so i dont know who is at fault between troy and you but please take out or of the auger break/lock form the troy 33 inch so your manger did nothing to keep us as customers the $2199 plus tax machine is going back as we speak now must look for another one befor snow cus i wasted 3 weeks with 2 broken new machines

Cary R.:Canadian Tire, you lost a loyal customer. Ordered 4 tires online to be sent to the Cochrane AB store>>>never showed up. Went to the Richmond Rd Calgary store, left my vehicle there for 2 days...they never got to it. Its obvious your company doesn't give a shite about customer service. I'll give my $800 to another company. Good riddance!

Blythe F.: Could not be more disappointed with Canadian Tire. I had a refund card that apparently expires after a year. I received the refund card because the cashier refused to give me the cash difference on a price adjustment even though it was within the stated timeframe. Then I find out that the refund card's expire AFTER the fact. Giftcards cannot have expiry dates, but you feel it's acceptable for a refund card to expire? This is one of the MULTIPLE reasons why I dislike shopping at Canadian Tire and after this experience I can assure you I will be spending my money elsewhere.

Al H.: Canadian Tire is crap I had $35.98 rang up on the bill and they wouldn't give me my $10 off for my scratch card!!! will never shop there again. The GM said it has to be over $35 meaning that it has to be $36 to ring through.

Denise S.D.: NEVER NEVER NEVER go to CANADIAN TIRE for an oil change or winter tires. Went to the location on Major Mackenzie today in Richmond hill and we had no issues with our vehicle. The Mechanic states we need a new starter and battery. Explain to me how a perfectly good vehicle that had no issues all of a sudden needs a new starter and battery? I was able to drive my car in but they messed it up and it would not start to leave! Spammers they mess with your car so they get more $$$$. I would get my vehicle towed before I give them more money! Go somewhere else to change your tires and and an oil change!!!!!!I will not longer shop at Canadian tire either!

David N.: Terrible experience at the Silver Linden Canadian Tire store in Richmond Hill on Saturday. Brought in my vehicle at around 9:30 am to get the light bulb
replaced for my plates. I told them one of the screws was stripped on
the drivers side so they said it could be done but It will be
approximately 100 dollars. After the car stayed with them for 8 hours,
they report back saying that the socket is broken and they got the
passenger side working. I told them the passenger side was already
working ---I changed the light bulb myself. They were able to remove the
broken screw on the driver side but said they will have to order a new
socket replacement from the dealer. I drove home and removed the cover
myself and replaced the bulb on the driver side. Of course I turn on
my lights and both bulbs are lit. I called the store back asking for
the Service or Store Manager to file the complaint at around 6pm, but
nobody bothered picking up the page for service. I'm never shopping at
Canadian Tire again.

Stacy G.: The worst customer service I have ever had has been at canadian tire. I will avoid shopping there at all costs. Working in retail I understand that dealing with the public takes a lot of patience, but this was outrageous.

Lisa S.L.: Just had a most disgusting experience @ the Richmond Hill, On Location! The most arrogant and rude manager I have ever encountered - he raised his voice at me , to me , spoke about me before even approaching me, accused me of lying! The entire group of customers in the area were watching. I left the store completely humiliated. I can assure you that I will not only never shop at Canadian Tire again but I will tell everyone I know about my encounter and advise them to do the same. Take your business to Walmart and Home Depot people!! The prices are better and they know the value of Customer service!!

Amanda T.H.: Your return policy is BS! Hubby Received a hammer drill for his birthday last year and it broke this year. Don't have the receipt as it was a gift and you refuse to return it! The manufacturing date is stamped right on it!!! The manager at our store is so rude! The last time I will ever buy anything from Canadian tire!
