Angelo I.: Worst return policy and service .I don't go there anymore for years .
Garage is a joke too. $$$

Suzanne B.: C-tire is such a rip! They advertised a 50" smart TV on the front of their three day long weekend sale and only had one in stock, saying while quantities last and no rain checks. They've been doing this for years! I quit that store for their hyposcrasy and deception!

Tony D.: I have already sent you emails and no reply. I will not shop at your stores again and I am spreading the word about this problem. I'm a big outdoors person on lots of outdoor website and a courier that meats lots of people. I will spread the word until I pass away and that's not for a very long time.

Just P.C., or all Crappy Stores?

Denise S.: Canadian Tire in Port Colborne no better at all, lots of horror stories of them trying to rip people off, including myself in the past. I tell everyone to keep away.

Just auto service, or stores too?

Aws A.: My tire had slow Air leaking, I took the tire to Canadian Tire on Calgary trail, the said we can't fix it, then they start give me a price for new tires, i took the same tire to other place, left the tire for half an hour and the tire fixed now and on the car, nothing wrong with it. I am done with Canadian tire.

This will be the last time Canadian tire will EVER receive my customer service. I have been using the automotive center for the last ten years and after the poorest customer service I have ever had, it will be my last. Rude, inconsiderate, disrespectful and my car is still not fixed. I have talked to customer service but I will be posting on all of my social media of the location and why I will never be back to a canadian tire again. Oh and let me just make it clear the employee made it clear that "they don't need my money". Michelle W.

Peyman K.:
The worse customer service ever and the last time I ever buy anything from Canadian Tire.
I purchased a bike for my daughter last May 2014 but the bike was too so we decided to keep it in the garage until this spring so she could ride it. Yesterday for the first time she took it out and we found out the bike has a major defect. The pedals locks and make grinding noise when trying to pedals uphill’s and the chain keep falling off. I took it to the store at Airport Rd and Queen St in Brampton where we bought it and got the worse customer service in the history of retail. The manager said you are 6 days out of your warranty so there is nothing we can do, I said please look at the bike it is brand new and I am not asking for refund I just want repair or replaced if it is not fixable, I purchased it in good faith that major retail company would stand behind quality and now just because it is 6 days after the warranty date this is the service I get, the bike is brand new and we just tried to ride it for the first time and just to find out it is defective. The manager said there is nothing they could do and why should Canadian tire be stock with the cost of repair or replacement of my pike!! Seriously is this the customer service quality Canadian Tire stands for.
I just want what is fair, if I had tested the bike 6 days ago and found out about this defect wouldn’t you have helped me to resolve the issue, so Canadian Tire cannot see past 6 days and provide service when they can see the condition of the brand new bike.
Seriously if this is the attitude of the Canadian Tire company to sell defective bike without quality check in place and not standing behind what they sell, I would radar take my business where as a customer I am respected and appreciated.
Now I am stock with a defective bike and have to pay for repair.

Yesterday, my two sons and I were denied entry to your Nanaimo location because I was wearing a very small backpack containing diapers, baby wipes and water. After petitioning the security guard, I was allowed to use the washroom to change my toddler's diaper. There was no change table in the men's washroom. Your company no longer deserves my business.

Michelle W.: I called. And was questioned why I called again. This keeps getting worse.

A lot of people are using the new "Post to Page" area to announce their boycott.

Need to do something about your service - the CT in Rockland, ON is the worst for service - it starts with the Store Manager who desperately needs to learn what good customer service is - returned Whipper Snipper that was less than a year old and the store manager said he would have the shop look at it - after a week of waiting, we went back in to see if he had been repaired - no-one had even looked at it and didn't really care!!! Won't be shopping here anymore - Home Depot, Lowes, Rona, Home Hardware will all get my business - they know what customer service is all about!!

Just wanted to inform you that I recently celebrated my six year ban of your company!
I've been much happier since i stopped shopping at your store!
Just thought I'd let you know smile emoticon

Instead of giving away stuff why don't you try quality items that don't need to be returned to the store, sometimes 2or 3 times per item purchased.burning gas and wasting time cost more than the points you give out in your stores .that is why i stopped buying 22 years ago and nothing has changed to entice me to go back .

I went into your store today to return a product, when the girl said she needed a MA agers approval your Store Manager came up and said he wouldn't refund my money. When I asked why he said he didn't have to refund it that he could choose who got money back or not and he was choosing to not refund. That's AMAZING. Guess I will be spending my money elsewhere.

We were just returning a $40 purchase to Canadian Tire Prince George and were told that we could not make a return unless I provided ID with a complete name, address and phone number. I was not told this policy when I made my purchase nor did I provide ID when I made my purchase. I am not sure when it became acceptable for a store to DEMAND ID when making a return. I was told I could not return the item unless I provided my ID. Sorry Canadian Tire this is a bad practice and we will no longer shop at your store.

Just brought my son to Canadian Tire to buy a bike out of the money he has saved up. Got home (an hours drive away) to discover the back tire and tube is no good. Called the store to see about getting a refund or exchanging it for another bike, only to be told there is nothing they can for us. I have a very upset 9 year old boy and am quite upset myself. Will never buy anything from Canadian Tire again!

Went to return a $20 garbage can today [as received dented + scratched in box] to the East location vs the North where it was purchased as I was near the East and no where near the North since my purchase. I was denied the return at that location even tho I had the original box + packaging, receipt and it was just bought last week. I was told all Canadian Tires are not the same, so WHY IS IT THAT CANADIAN TIRE MONEY WAS/IS UNIVERSAL AT ANY LOCATION ACROSS CANADA? It also does not state on the receipt that it needs to be returned to the location it was bought at. What a joke, MY VERY LAST TRIP TO YOUR COMPANY WILL BE RETURNING THE HUNK OF "GARBAGE" I received last week.

Worst service in the auto parts department in Penticton, BC today, I bought a car with a battery from Canadian tire and had the paper work for warranty an is under warranty till April next year, I called an asked if the paper wasn't in my name would there be a problem an was told no. So I go there to get a new one an the sells rep said they can't do it due to it not being in my name even though the girl on the phone said its no problem. So I had to take my dead battery back out to my car an put it in an have a different auto shop come jump my battery in YOUR parking lot as your store would not do it. I'll be sure never to buy anything from there again.

Almost a month ago my husband and my son went to Canadian Tire in Kingston (Gardiners/Hwy 38 store) and my son purchased a bicycle for about $200 (I believe it was $179.99 + tax). They came home and he didn't make it to the end of the street before it broke. We took it right back, and concerned about the quality, we wanted to return it and get a better (more expensive) bike. We were told we could NOT return it! Not even for store credit! They took the bike and said it would be repaired. We've checked weekly and the bike is still not repaired. So, after spending his hard earned money for a bike he needed, my son STILL has no bike, but Canadian Tire has his money. This weekend my husband and I went to Costco and spent over $400 ($359.99 + tax) to buy him a bike. We asked at the customer service desk and were assured if we got it home and it broke, just return it. I don't know what we'll do with the Canadian Tire bike, if/when they ever bother to get around to repairing it? Apparently Costco stands behind the products they carry and sell to their customers, but Canadian Tire does NOT. We are so upset and disappointed in Canadian Tire and the horrible customer service that we will not shop in your stores again.
