plus the report states that of all returns, only an estimated 4% are erroneous, yet canadian tire uses this as leverage to **** with the other 96% of honest consumers.shame on you,.

Speaking of CT complaints on Facebook ...

Debby D.: Christina I wasted twenty minutes speaking to them professionally another hour on the phone then writing a letter to management how much does one need to do! As I you know how the conversation went and to assume it was us! Seems like there is a lot of people not impressed with CT I believe in karma and statistics you will get your day when you are less than impressed. My husband hasn't steppe foot in one for five years but I get it now!

'Scuse me, everybody, can I squeeze in here? I wanna post a CT complaint off Facebook!

Brenda E.: Canadian tire has the worst customer service ever

Interesting, how there were so many more complaints posted on Crappy Tire's Facebook page during that week, compared to Walmart Canada's page. There were 47 complaints for CT - on a wide range of topics - but only 22 for Walmart, on a lot fewer areas.

This, despite the fact there's no place way to post right on Crappy Tire's wall.

https://www.canadiantiresucks.net/g...s-canadian-tire-still-sucks-12.html#post11639

But something that really stands out is their responses to customers. All CT ever seems to do, is a copy and paste message. It's usually "we care about you, but won't do anything about it". On rare occasions when a customer has a positive comment, all CT might say is Thanks.

But the Walmart site shows just how much better Crappy Tire could be doing, if they were willing to get serious about it. Walmart engages customers in a real dialogue, where customers post questions about stock, policies, facilities, products, and so on. And the Customer Service people provide quick responses with genuinely helpful information.

But, I guess the down side for The Red Triangle of Crap stores, would be having all the complaints (47 per week, if not more!) readily accessible to anyone who wants to see for themselves just how much they suck!

Probably worth it, for the Crappy Sys Admins to just keep hitting the Delete button, and hope nobody notices, LOL!

Last week Home Hardware paid Facebook to spam Canadians about heat and lights and things.

It popped up to my page though I never asked for it. So I read, and discover that a tidal wave of Canadian consumers have bad things to say about Home Hardware

Home Hardware Sucks
Never have sale items in stock
Tried to return item, told deal with the Manufacturer

...to note a few.

You know, here on this forum three or four is a tsunami or storm or the majority. Damn math

Once in a while, we hear how much their gas stations suck at honouring the coupons that their own head office prints:

---

Andrew G.: Hi Canadian Tire

I have a very serious compliant with the customer satisfaction that I had with Canadian Tire Gas Station at (2905 King St. E. Kitchener, ON).

This is what the problem was.LAST WEEK My dad was given a CDN tire Flier in the Newpaper. It said that this week was a 14x multiplier for gas. We continue to read the fine print and it said "Earn $0.042 per litre in canadian Tire Money with this 14x coupon and a 40 Litre gas purchase." the Coupon continues on saying that the Canadian Tire Options Credit Card users will get the 14x without the coupon.

So me and my dad went to get gas on Sunday January 26, 2014 in the evening at the Canadian Tire Gas station on

2905 King St E
Kitchener, ON

So when we got there the sign on the pump said that we get 8x multiplier. We knew something was going to go wrong. We were going to pay at the cashier (after filling up) But because I told my dad because I am sick and tired of dealing with this problem we should just pay at the pump and just fix the mistake by calling up 1800 Canadian Tire Credit card customer service level (In the past we had the same issue at the Kitchener Ottawa st location but this time it was at 2905 King St E location). So we filled up about 60 litres and paid it at the pump. When the receipt printed up it Said 8x. So my dad and i were very furious as this was the MILLIONTH TIME THAT THIS VERY SAME PROBLEM HAS OCCURED TO US AT YOUR GAS STATIONS here in Kitchener.

The previous time that this had happened was back in December 2013 at the Ottawa st Kitchener Location I emailed you the complaint (here is the tracking number for the complaint #631782)

I Don't what the Crapp you guys at CDN tire Corporate are doing. You guys have endlessly failed to resolve this issue with your gas stations here in Kitchener. I am at the point where I do not want to buy gas at any of your Gas stations and I want to discontinue my CDN tire Options Card Don't buy gas at the Canadian Tire in any Kitchener Location.

I SUGGEST YOU INVESTIGATE IN THIS PROBLEM.

they wont......
funnily enough your latest ad has me quizzical.if it werent for canadian tire jonathan toews wouldnt be playing hockey?and whats with all the tires?what do they have to do with the sport?im amazed he allowed himself to get roped into such bullshit...

maybe its because of all the charity kids sports thing you do.im wondering if the proceeds from that went to paying jonathan for his appearance on the ad.sounds about right to me.screw people out of refunds.invest said profits from not refunding into advertising in order to hook more fish.ugh your company stinks.....

The kids sports thingy might actually do some good - but to the CTers, it's just another way to hide how much they suck.

Take their inability to stock their own shelves:

Bill V.D.: Canadian Tire, if you're so great, how come you were completely out of stock of toboggans in the middle of -- duh!-- winter? Now I'll have to go back to stealing trays from cafeterias.

Hmm ... I see a CTer has claimed that Home Hardware spammed them. Well, if that's true, they now know what it's like for all the Canadian Tire victims out there.

I suppose someone out there might be working on a Home Hardware Sucks page. It would be nice for so the CTers, who can't remember what this site is for, to have a place to post their concerns. It can be such an enjoyable hobby!

I try to check for signs at the cash indicating their return policies, if I don't like what I read I don't purchase. If I buy a product and it doesn't fulfill it's purpose than I do expect a full refund regardless of tags/stickers and package intact. As far as fraud, then these retailers better come with a better way to prevent that and thus keep the honest folks as customers. One of the stores I will not purchase from is Canadian Tire, their return policy on certain items is ridiculous, when the item doesn't work, it doesn't work and I want my money back!

@Laughing1 You took the words right out of my mouth. I NEVER shop at Canadian Tire for that same reason. I would rather pay more from a store that does have a "customer friendly" return policy. There are lots of choices, so it hasn't been a problem.

This was posted on our site, as well as FB, at https://www.canadiantiresucks.net/c...idnt-expect-such-surprise-them.html#post11728

My wife and I have lived together for 30 years. We have five children, And I decided to make this gift to us . Two days ago I bought at local Canadian Tire ( 7200 De Sainte-anne-de-bellevue Blvd, Montreal, QC, H4B 1T4, Phone: 514-483-2223) LIVESTRONG LS15.0T Treadmill. I paid 75 dollars for a delivering inside of the house. And today three men deliveved it to me. And they told me that I have to pay them extra $ 25 because it does not fit into my standard door. In truth , I was surprised that the treadmill isalready assembled . I troubled but I paid this extra money .. Only later I noticed that the treadmill is very dirty and with lots of scratches .. And I realized that they sold me a demo model ... I checked the history of treadmill... Accumulated distance - 10 miles, accumulated time- 2 hours,,,, and a belt is noise. I guess it already require lubrication ... All this is very sad because I always buy only new goods in the boxes ... And no one told me that they are going to sell me an old item ... It looks like a hoax ... I immediately went to the store to complain about ... They offered me two options - or discount on $ 40 or return the item at my expense ... I said that both options are just a mockery ... And why should I pay for the delivering again if I was deceived ... I still did not say anything to my wife about this purchase. I am ashamed to show this shabby thing .. I don't know what I should do now . I am already 10 years as a customer of Canadian Tire. And I did not expect such surprise from them...

Fantastic Customer Service! After years of getting cheated, this fellow is finally getting a partial refund: $1.05!

(But he still has some hoops to jump through, before he'll get it - gotta be vigilante about all, this scammers out there!)

Andrew G.: wow after many years of complaining about your gas station not giving out the correct multiplier and this is the excuse you guys say....

"We are very sorry for your experience at our location it seems that there was a glitch in the system and you should have received the 14X multipler instead of 8X. You were saying that you filled up to 60 litres then you are entitled to receive $2.50 and not $1.45 that was issued. If you can bring in the receipt and we will make sure you do receive the difference which is $1.05."

WOW

I might give you guys one more chance to redeem yourselves. Actually I will never go your King St. and Ottawa st. Gas station location ever again. I 'll go to Victoria st. Kitchener Location once it reopens, because it never gave me any trouble they were always fair and appreciative and nice to their customers.

She's going to have to be more specific; there are dozens of ways they sucks, and that their CS falls well short:

Nancy K.: Canadian Tire is the worst company ever

Nancy K.: I have already called your head office and the general manager of the store. Waiting on store owner to call me. Nothing is being done. I do not want to email as I would like a call. Please let me know how I can escalate. I already have a case pending.

Nancy K.: I have had such a bad experience with Canadian Tire and am hoping to get the better business bureau to audit exactly what the employees are doing. I cannot believe how horrible the customer service is.
