LiarGuy
the message is simple
you are a liar
it is not hard to spot your lies
mostly the same old ones being repeated
but at least a few new ones
you and there other ct reps who post here - assuming you are not just one person - call me names and make fun of me
but if i am such a moron how come i can so easily find so many lies and so easily disprove them?
[you are claiming] manufacturers intentionally produce junk products
nobody claimed the manufacturers intentionally produce junk
that is a lie
it was suggested the manufacturer could send it to the a CT store, and the store could not send it back.
that is true
you keep insisiting that a customer with a DOA item is not giong to be compensated.
nobody said a customer is not going to be compensated, i.e. get a repair
this is a lie
the rules everywhere are clear.
they are not clear
much of this debate is because the rules are not clear
even you were mistaken about them
saying they are clear is a lie
to suggest that these issues are due to the customer not having a receipt is a lie
know your warranty terms.
the issue is the policy to not provide a refund or even an exchange
suggesting that the warranty is relevant and will help with a refund or exchange for repair-only is a lie
if it's a repair item, it goes for repair,
the law in ontario says the customer is entitled to a refund under the cpa
to suggest that a repair is the only option for the customer is a lie
no cost to customer inside the warranty duration.
costs to the customer have been described previously
to say there are no costs to the customer to settle for a repair instead of a refund is a lie
if its an exhchange item, you get another one on the spot.
the law in ontario says the customer is entitled to a refund under the cpa
to suggest that the customer must settle for an exchange is a lie
the owner has a contract that says he will participate.
the owner voluntarily agreed to the contract
to suggest that the owner is not responsible for their own actions is a lie
4) it has been clearly established that no retailer MUST give a refund to anyone for anything.
it has been clearly established that retailers in various provinces including ontario are required to do so under the cpa.
they must simply adhere to the policies and warranties
the cpa says nothing about the retailers adhering to their policies
at least this is a new lie
there are many requirements in the cpa applicable to retailers that go far beyond the manufacturers warranties - implied warranty for instance
there is nothing that requires a retailer to limit their policy to the terms of the manufacturers warranty
[the policies and warranties] that they [the retailer] themselves set out on each individual product.
above you wrote "canadian tire office decides what to sell at what price and with what warranty "
you are contradicting yourself in the same post
you arent even telling consistent lies
in the case of ct, as previously quoted, the policy is on the back of every receipt is return within 90 days, unused, in original packaging for a refund.
it says "for exchange or refund" - not just refund
is says "in its original condition and packaging" - not unused.
and it says nothing about repair-only
that one was easy
gas powered equipment, no return after 30 days, repair only.
no return ever on gas powered pressure washers
liar
i'm sure there are stores that screw up, make mistakes on the policies and warranties,
to suggest that the problems customer have are mistakes and not the result of a policy is a lie
the problems are due to the policy
and probably a few owners that squeeze the rules a bit one way or the other to make more money.
to suggest that the problems customer have are due to owners who dont follow the policy is a lie
the problems are due to the policy
to think every transaction with every customer and every store is a scam,
nobody said that it was every transaction with every customer
nobody said that all provinces have a CPA that mandates refunds on defective goods
this whole site proves that when someone is pissed off, bitter or upset, logical thinking goes out the window.
this site is strong evidence that canadian tire has alienated a significant number of its former customer
and that customers continue to leave
liarguy you seem to be addicted to telling the same lies over and over
maybe we should just assign them numbers to save time
at least you have come up with a few new lies this time
at least they are easily disproven
