I spoke with Janice about the Simoniz 2900 and asked her, “If I take it home and it doesn't work, how much time do I have to get a refund?"
She told me that it was "repair only" and therefore “nonrefundable”, so I would not be able to get a refund, even if I brought it back the same day.
So, I asked, “How much time do I have to exchange it for one that works?”
Janice said, “There are no exchanges on the Simoniz 2900, or on most gas-powered pressure washers”.
An “F” rating for Canadian Tire. “No Refund, No Exchange” on some items.

not just 'some'. lots of 'repair only' items in the store. vacuums, tvs, air compressors, tents
i see some ct person was on here already claiming that there was something incorrect in there - not sure what that was supposed to be - its all bang on.
i called up the 1-800 number myself. total fabrication by this ct yahoo who says you'll get new unit. what a liar
like all the other ct'er have been confessing, "repair only" means exactly that - they'll fix it and then you are stuck with a used product. no thanks!

the lesson is clear - don't buy from ct.
if there are people still buying from crappy tire it's only because they've been fooled by ct
